Animal Sun

Animal Sun are an alternative folk act from Virginia with a touching story behind their feelgood raucous of melodic guitar lines that createa bright, soulful, and fun listen. They were formed in 2015 by two brothers, Vcalist Steven Blake Alton and Drummer/Vocalist William Alton, They named the band after the tragic loss of their childhood friend James Sun in 2011.

They were soon joined by Lead Guitarist Jonathan Harris, Bassist Andy Beachy, and Keyboardist/Guitarist Neil Ackroyd, whom have built a cult following across the states by performing at packed parties and House Shows that culminated in the group recording their debut EP with legendary Virginia Beach producer Rob Ulsch in 2016.

Debut EP “ Animal Sun” was released on November 29th 2017 This is a well-managed site designed for any type of fan. The web design is sharp and professional, which comes with an accessible bio, press release, Also, visitors have an opportunity to listen to new tracks complete with a page packed full of dazzling photos, and a merch shop too. This is all done to increase a stronger fanbase This is another well managed site that allows the band to open up as a fun unit with videos of the band performing, photos of them enjoying themselves in rehearsal, as well as regular updates to keep fans keen.

Her follow up album saturn is due for release in 2018. This is another well run website with an extensive bio, alongside music videos, gig updates, and some stunning photos from her modelling career. Le Lien

Le Lien is a Soulful Artist and Actor from Austin, Texas. Her music has been described as “unique, with a feminine grit”. I see similarities with her evocative charm that incorporates, Rock, Pop, Blues, Soul with Rock ‘N’ Roll styling. She has released two worldwide singles in “Give Me Your Love “and “Somebody to Love”, which has gained much coverage on Radio Stations. This feels more like the singer’s home page with regular updates of her gigs, as well simple things like favourite films. Also, there are some music performance videos, as well as an array of intimate pictures from her childhood, family and food pics. There is an opportunity to sign up for more information. I feel LeLien manages theses accounts as a way to grow closer is to her fanbase. This site has a dropdown menu for fans to listen to her music, upcoming shows, photo gallery and some latest posts. This feels like it is more personal between the singer and visitors. There is also a contact form and Instagram feed for fans more interested.

Cellar Door PDX

Cellar Door PDX is a Portland- based Alternative Rock band formed by two old college mates., whom have been writing partners for years, forging a strong following across the Eugene and Portland areas. The band are said to write melodic guitar lines with unique chord progressions and off- beats. I see this in each song the band write, which encompasses different styling in blues, funk, soul, and electronica with powerful vocals and thought-provoking lyrics. The band’s main influences are Pearl Jam, QOTSA, Modest Mouse and The Doors among many.

Cellar Door are signed to DRD records, which released latest EP “ Right Here Right Now “

Cellar DoorPDX are;

  • Ian Hanley - Vocals

  • Ben Carmine - Guitar

  • Alec Maier - Drums This site provides plenty of music, an extensive Bio, and photos. The only argument is that there doesn’t seem to be any recent updates. This is another accessible site with music performancesand photos from recent gigs, The band seem to not have any updates for a while, which can make it hard to attract new fans
