Presenting Nora Murray From Los Angeles

Written by The Old School Project
Born and bred in Nashville, Tennessee, Nora Murray lived in a city filled with music. She fell in love the minute she first laid eyes on a six string and knew that she would have one in her arms one day. Her dream of owning one finally came true as she found a brand new guitar hidden away in her garage. She didn’t know where it came from or why it was hidden but knew that it was planted there for her to find. She started spending her time tucked away in the garage singing and playing the wrong notes but it was the therapy she needed in the dysfunctional household that she grew up in. Pouring herself out in her writing, sharing all the feelings she bottled up while no one was listening.
As time moved on music was somewhat forgotten as it was not a path she was allowed to pursue but secretly the love for it all never faded. It wasn't until moving to California in 2015 that she picked up her guitar and started writing once again. She found a healing space to pour out her heart and share her stories. This time her relationship with music entered a more serious stage. Nora slowly inched towards her fear of playing on stage and booked her first show summer 2018. Sharing her sweet soothing melodies in any venue that allowed her to take the stage, Nora continues to sing as she is determined to give the world the therapy it needs in dark times. She has since played multiple venues around Los Angeles including a recent main stage set at The Viper Room. Her live show is captivating and she has that natural ability to draw the crowd into her world.
Nora has been working continuously over the last year writing and recording and currently has a single in the works to be released early 2019. She also just recently teamed up with mgmt. company Rav Medic and together they are working hard putting the strongest foot forward for Nora.
2019 is set to be a huge year for this rising artist.
