High-energy stage performance. Sizzling hot guitar solos. Smooth and soulful vocals. Backed by a rhythm section that is second to none, this IS Dennis Jones. Check out a live show, and you’ll instantly agree, this band ROCKS the blues like NO other!
Dennis's feet are firmly rooted in the past, yet his heart and soul are connected to the present. He writes songs that seamlessly blend the best of both worlds, presenting a unique and contemporary style of American rock and blues.
Born and raised in Baltimore, Maryland, and now based in Los Angeles, California, Jones continues to pursue his musical goal of becoming a top entertainer in his field. With five well-regarded CD releases to date, Jones' vision has never been more in focus.
Formed in New York City in late 2012, Audio Revival is an unlikely collection of band geeks and one former Second Team All-Big East linebacker for the Syracuse Orange football team. With the help of three-time Grammy award-winning producer Dave Clauss (Shakira, Marin Morris,Justin Bieber, U2, Paul Simon), Audio Revival released a series of singles in 2015, to critical fanfare and spent much of the year playing shows across the Northeast.
Indie Lagone's music is a myriad wall of sound comprised of a hard rock feel shadowed by sleek undertones and is filled with genre defying ideas. Lagone's lyrical content is engulfed in the introspection, addictions and rising above adversity.
The songs are all balanced by a twist of musical sensibility that is grounded by an idea of not overworking rhythms and melodies. Songwriting within the band is all hinged on the thought that a good song should influence, stand alone and not be overplayed. It is not how many notes you can play but how you can get them to collide and react with one another. The band has attempted to create a mood reminiscent of a Quentin Tarantino film.
Cat Ridgeway, a singer/songwriter hailing from Orlando, Florida, is a skilled lyricist and melodist. Cat’s eclectic style shines through her ability to play guitar and harmonica (at the same time!), trumpet, trombone, drums, piano, and bass. Cat has worked with several notable producers, including Greg Rike (producer of Deep Purple and The Back Street Boys) and most recently, Ben Cooper (co-writer of Ricky Skaggs’ Grammy award winning album “Mosaic”). Cat's most recent project "Passenger Seat" is a direct result of her overfunded Kickstarter campaign "Cat Goes to Nashville". She had the privilege of working with the likes of Gordon Kennedy (co-writer of "Change the World" recorded by Eric Clapton) and many other seasoned Nashville players on the EP.
Chris Eves and the New Normal blur the lines between rock, funk, and blues with a healthy dose of jam band influences. Thoughtful lyrics blend seamlessly with solid roots rock riffs, pop sensibilities and, catchy hooks. Based out of Syracuse NY, the band has shared the stage with such diverse artists as the Zac Brown Band, Jon Fishman of Phish, Gov't Mule, Cheap Trick, Gregg Allman and many others. Their debut album is now available on all music services.
THE LATE GREATS are a Manchester/Sheffield-based duo made up of David Benjamin (Lead Vocals) and Steve Marsden (Guitar).
Their material is a blend of alternative rock and Americana. Individually these two experienced musicians have performed at Glastonbury, Download, Secret Garden, Other Voices, Reading and Leeds Festival and have also supported a variety of big acts, from the Killers to Paloma Faith.
Tom Petty, the Replacements, Warren Zevon, Bruce Springsteen and Ryan Adams are among their main musical influences.
The Swills are a new independent band from Vancouver, BC Canada. They’ve been together since 2006, with very humble beginnings as a true garage band, complete with a rehearsal space in a bus depot!
They’ve made a name for themselves with their fans by putting on high-energy shows designed to make people move. They’re also known for their social conscience, both in the songs they write, and by putting on shows for various charities. To date, they have raised over $3000 for such local charities as Covenant House and The BC Prader-Willi society. Moving forward, they plan on producing and performing in at least two charity events per year.
Their first self-produced record, Travelling Thru Time, released in 2008, was well received by college and independent radio stations, and The Swills are excited to build on that success with their new record, which draws heavily from their punk rock and blues rock influences, to create a unique hard-rocking sound.
We’re Chasing Shadows.
We’re here to write music we love taking the music we grew up with and hear now as inspiration. Our songs are about real life as we see it. Growing up in a town that has seen better days is nothing new for our generation, neither is a relationship that hasn’t gone quite the way you thought it might. We’re here to tell our stories, we’re to hit the chords we all know and mix it with melodies that will make you sing.
Since the Chasing Shadows journey started in August 2014 at the Kings Head in Rhuddlan, North Wales, we have played as much as we can, for as long as we can, as often as we can.

Second Update for the new campaign on ReverbNation
Don't miss Update #1
Life will eventually bring us all to the point of opposition. We then forge ourselves awake in the envy of an entire generation. Each of us will enquire our own fearful disillusionment, with the purpose being lost along with the purity of love. In its entropy we then find the quintessence of a life filled with passion. The avarice of our society that keeps us hidden from our own true potential. Love your life and live it the only way you know how, to the point where it scares you. Find your passions and exploit them, but be mindful of each other. The music is heartbreak, not just from love and relationships, but when life stops giving you things and starts taking them away. The struggles of humans, and the relationships we have with nature, religion, love and most of all each other. It is up to each of us to invent our own beautiful life, to find our passions with a voracious intensity. Find the confidence in yourself to dream, and find the peace that will set us all free.
Although currently based out of Orlando, Gary Lazer Eyes was founded by three Melbourne, FL natives. Since their not-so-serious formation in 2015, this eclectic band has grown in sound and reach. After being voted Orlando’s “Best Rock Act” in Best of Orlando 2016, GLE released High On Lies. On this EP, they explore a more alternative territory, while still managing to reflect their reggae & blues rock roots.
To support the release of this project, Gary Lazer Eyes embarked on a cross country, DIY tour. Upon returning home and playing a few “welcome back to Florida” shows, the boys received a warm reception (literally- Florida boys should stay in FL during the winter). Since then, the consistent regional touring and release of new content hasn’t stopped, quickly earning GLE a reputation in the Central FL community and beyond.
For Gary Lazer Eyes, community is an essential part of their journey. The threesome (now five) solidified while collaborating on Do-It-Yourself events featuring live music, local visual artists, and fashion vendors/brands. It was out of these collaborations that GLE was born. Leaning on the idea that music is an interdependent relationship (i.e. a song is not done until some one else hears it), the goal of their musical endeavors is not simply to create, but to connect with the people around them. All this, while still managing to have an awesome time – embracing debauchery.
Three Way Street is a Folk/Indie/Rock band based out of West Michigan. Their love of high energy live performance has earned them a loyal following in the short time they have worked together. Lead by Andrea Mathews’ powerful vocals, the driving rhythm section of Bradley Rose and Jeffrey Baldus sets the dancers in motion to the sweet melodies of Chris Brock’s lead guitar. This band prides itself on not being just another bar band, blending a unique take on classic folk and contemporary covers with original material that keeps audiences entertained and surprised.
Brooklyn based Bree And The Whatevers is a project spawned from the songwriting and musical vision of legally blind powerhouse vocalist Bree Klauser. The core of this collaboration is Bree and her partner Dan Kessler (co writer and multi instrumentalist). Their soulful vibe, paired with a cabaret aesthetic, create a high energy cathartic entertainment experience and in general a sexy fun time!
Bree And The Whatevers' Debut music video "Homewrecker" the title track of the forthcoming EP, was released in December 2016.
Singer-Songwriter-Guitarist Lee Perreira combines classic blues riffs with a soulful textured vocal style leaving his audience instantly captured.

Led by the inimitable vocalist Theresa Jeane along with Steven Tobi (guitar), Kevin Koelsch (bass), Javier Garza Jr. (guitar) and Josh Perrone (drums), The Nearly Deads are one of the hottest, rising rock bands to come out of Nashville. The band became a viral sensation with their break out, zombie infused music video for the single "Never Look Back"; as a result, their fans dubbed themselves "Zombies", creating The Nearly Deads #ZombieNation. The band’s amalgam of powerful pop vocals and aggressive alternative rock music combined with their love of all things geek and messages of positivity and empowerment creates a truly unique style that’s garnering attention from media and fans around the world.
The band is currently gaining massive traction with their smash hit song “My Evil Ways.”
Coopertheband (all one word) is a bramily (band/friends/family) composed of six massive music nerds with minds to rhyme and twelve hot feet. Centered in Jackson, TN, the band has found success nationally, featured on networks like HBO, ESPN, and TruTV as well as the hit show “Without a Trace.” Coopertheband is also hugely plugged into the local music scene and often finds itself on podcasts, regional television shows, and the occasional old-fashioned newspaper article. To date, Coopertheband has released three albums - Venture (2010), Kings EP (2012), and most recently, Kingdoms (2017) - now available everywhere.
Scott Evans has come back from the dead. Twice. Not figuratively. He was literally medically dead twice before the age of 22. Certain that music is what he is meant to do, after two times dancing through the space between life and death, there are few who will doubt this sense of purpose. It is also no surprise that one who has been so close to death makes music that is so vigorously, pleadingly resolute about living life while we have it. Evans has this urgency of life latent in his work, and telegraphs this message with a sound akin to a meld of Ryan Adams, Pink Floyd, and Tom Petty.
To relay the significance of his art, and life itself, Evans has teamed with Grammy-winning producer Noel Golden (who has worked with Matchbox Twenty, Willie Nelson, Sister Hazel, Edwin McCain, and others) to produce the 8-song EP, CIVILIZED, available at Evans' live shows and special appearances.
WD-HAN is an alternative indie rock band based in Tampa Bay, Florida. The band took its original form with Cal Henry on guitar, jamming and writing with high school friends. In need of a name, WD-HAN (“We Don’t Have A Name”) was considered and loved instantly.
Over the following years as the band continued to write new music and play bigger and better gigs they started to build a following. With the addition of Lea Campbell on drums and Spencer Barnes as the band’s front man, they developed their own kind of pop rock sound heavily influenced by a love of classic rock and blues.
Hailing from the desert expanse of Phoenix, Arizona, indie rock band Sleepwar pushes indie rock to another level by combining new wave and synth-pop influence with lyrics speaking to addiction, recovery and the inherent struggles of modern life. Sleepwar is led by Roger Willis (vocals) with Tim Woodbridge (producer, keys), James Allen (bass), Mark Pfister (guitar), and Brendan McGuinness (drums).
Utilizing lush synthesizer soundscapes, Sleepwar produces a sound that is both familiar yet unique. Fans of the five-piece rock outfit have likened their music to that of Tame Impala, the Killers, Coldplay, Imagine Dragons and Local Natives.
The Great Heights Band formed in 2014 and signed with CI Records soon after the release of their first EP, “Weird Thoughts”, and its hit single, “Portland”. The band has actively toured the US with bands including The Pink Spiders, Carousel Kings, and Icarus the Owl as well as sharing the stage with Andrew WK, Unwritten Law, Never Shout Never, New Politics, Bayside, and many more.
The Great Heights Band’s sophomore effort, rad-pop., is big and bold. The album, set to be released on April 20 via CI Records, brings together a diverse mix of pop, punk, nerd, and indie rock, with nods to a retro aesthetic and good old fashioned rock and roll. After touring for a couple of years on their debut LP, Song in Eastern Standard Timing (SEIST), the band wanted to follow it up with a record that was fun and eclectic, but also stood out on its own. “We honed the sound of this record by writing, demoing, and tearing apart dozens of songs and arrangements,” says singer/guitarist Neal Karkhanis. After demoing about 50 songs, the band fully recorded the best 18 before finalizing the album’s track listing at 11, with one bonus track each for CD and vinyl.
All great stories should start with a song. The song that starts this story was “Make It Alright”, penned in her college dorm room by a 19 year old Katy Cole. The song was one of many in a notebook that showed up at jam session in an old River House in the Adirondack Mountains. Chris Schempp was one of the musicians, and immediately connected with Cole, quickly adding guitar riffs and responses to her vocal lines. Before the end of the session, the group had recorded 4 songs. It only seemed natural to record more.
Fast forward 10 years later, through numerous band names, side projects, and other musical stimulation- along with a total of 30 recorded original songs, Schempp and Cole, accompanied by an ever-changing line up of talented musicians, joined forces with producer, Shooter Jennings to record their new album, “Symbols & Snares” as Last Daze. “Symbols & Snares” was recorded in the Echo Park region of LA at Station House Studio, led by engineer, Mark Rains.
While in LA, Jennings sought to bring out the songs that had the most feeling and raw emotion in them. He wanted to capture the intimate moments described in Katy Cole’s lyrics.
Fort Defiance is an Americana duo from Nashville, TN, consisting of Jordan Eastman and Laurel Lane. Hailed for their honest songwriting, timeless harmonies, and high-energy stage performance, the husband and wife have been touring relentlessly, playing over 250 shows a year. Their passion and grassroots work ethic has garnered heavy attention from around the globe, causing critics to call them "Breathtakingly seductive" (That Music Magazine) and "Good, honest, and full of real heart" (Orlando Weekly).

Meet State Line Syndicate – an atomic-blast of energy packed into a three-piece band with music rooted hard in the vibrant sounds of the power-pop /rock & punk genres. The current line-up creating their electric-vibe includes Makeshift Mike (Guitars, Vocals), Mikey Virgin (Drums) and Joe E (Bass, Backing Vocals); each armed with a determination to make their music career last a lifetime…
Since the official formation of State Line Syndicate in 2013, this band has continued to electrify audiences and have the crowd chanting their songs enthusiastically back to the stage. With a massively-catchy songwriting style that blends the sum of their influences like Green Day, Weezer and early Blink-182 into their own unique and explosively energetic sound – they’ve ensured one-hundred percent quality in every note and tone by keeping State Line Syndicate a unified three-piece. That focus on musical-excellence and breaking new, exciting ground within the scene has spread like wildfire – their Facebook page is already bursting at the seams with well-over 2000 fans joining in well-under two-year’s time!
Josie Johnson moved from Minnesota to Portland, Oregon in 2010. She and her boyfriend rented a basement apartment on Failing Street. Her boyfriend returned to the land of 10,000 lakes. Josie stayed and wrote about the fateful street. A friend commenting on her sad songs asked, “You’re happy otherwise, right?”
“Failing Street” is just one of the songs she recorded at Jackpot! Recording Studio where fate intervened once again and brought her together with sound engineer Kendra Lynn and bass guitarist Adam Justin Raitano. A bond was formed, a band was born, and now they are Happy Otherwise.
The trio is a blend of poignant lyrics and vocals delivered with theatrical style by Johnson, complimented by the heartfelt harmonies and eclectic percussion of Lynn and held together with artistry by the bass guitar of Raitano.
Minneapolis based singer-songwriter Cassandra Cole doesn't ask for your attention; she demands it. Her diverse tonal palette and classic vocal stylings are reassuringly relevant. Influenced by life's unique perfume of people and place, Cole's music traces the temperature of her own physical journey. From sun-drenched Californian plains to blizzard-misty Minnesotan highways, her voice joins up every temperature in-between like an enchanting map of musical waypoints. As a child, Cole would drift away in records of crackly escapist wonder. If Garland and Holiday set the foundations, Sheeran and Apple provided the scaffold for her own musical development. As a result, her songwriting is an eclectic blend of melodic soulfulness and modern edge.

The Foxfire's sound was forged by the ethereal and sometimes dark nature of shoegaze bands such as My Bloody Valentine and Ride; the Indie Pop sound of bands such as The 1975 and Foals; and the experimental folk sounds of bands like Wilco and Death Cab for Cutie. The sound became known as "Seagaze" which was inspired by the band's collective love of the beach and the ocean. "Seagaze" is often described by the band as the sound you would want to feel while you're looking out at the ocean and is also inspired by Bruce Lee's speech about being like water- able to flow and open to change. September 3, 2016 saw the release of The Foxfires first full length album, Reawakening, a bold new step forward for the band in terms of songwriting, musicianship, production, and artistic individuality.

Close your eyes... picture where you were the first time that you heard that really, really great song... the first one that comes to mind - the song with the jangling guitars, pounding drums, thumping bass, moaning organ, three part harmonies, and the lyrics that spoke directly to you. The one that changed your life. The song, that every time you hear it, takes you back to a memory, a feeling, a love, a loss, an amazing moment time...
Open your eyes and fast forward five, ten, fifteen or maybe even thirty years (or more).... the Brother Bicker Band is trying to recapture that memory, that feeling, that love, that loss and that amazing moment in time with every song that they play, original or cover.
Explorers are, in a way, everything the literal thinker would expect them to be; a synth pop band transporting you somewhere else; artisans of expansive, multi layered sounds existing somewhere in-between the sonic depth of M83 and melodic immediacy of the Naked and Famous. And yet, while the journey is undoubtedly to the stars, there’s a cherishing gaze back to earth too.

In early 2015, Alone Together formed after Calista and Chloe parted ways from their former band and began producing music inspired by their years of songwriting and performing. Their artistic styles grew as the girls were introduced to their energetic guitarist, Anthony, through a mutual friend. Alone Together became whole as Jacob officially joined the band as their drummer in mid 2016.
After a little over a year, the band has written over ten tracks, performed at popular So Cal venues, (such as Whiskey a Go-Go, Coach House and Troubadour), and released their debut EP in April 2017. Their buzz in the SoCal area caught the attention of Power 106's Yesi Ortiz, who has been a large part in developing their sound and image.

About a year ago, I met and interviewed the band Marbin, a high-energy Rock/Jazz hybrid that had impressed me with songs like, 'African Shabtay' and 'Redline' on their social media/YouTube video campaign the year before. Since my first Marbin show, I have been lucky enough to see them three more times and we have become fast friends; sharing many musical interests and debating the ins-and-outs of the music industry on various occasions.
As musicians, Marbin is growing exponentially; each member giving it they’re all on stage, every night, traveling the county and the world. Their musical influences and growth can be heard in their most recent compositions, which lean more into psychedelic and ballad like movements; leaving more room for improvisation and modulation within live performances. Marbin is constantly evolving, adding new intros, outros and transitions into their already solid repertoire.
Their newest unreleased album titled, "Israeli Jazz" seems to have woken more creativity inside this band, as they play these new songs with a raw and driving intensity. 'Israeli Jazz' the title track from the newest album, is hard and transient, smooth and razor sharp. I look forward to hearing the entire album and doing a full review when it is completed.
Dani Rabin shows exceptional guitar skills, on par, if not greater than, many guitarists in the progressive Jazz and Jam scene. Dani is always growing and expanding his musical education, incorporating those Gypsy Jazz scales he loves so much, into the music he constantly creates. Danny Markovitch is the backbone of this group and although he stands to the side during solos, he is always solemnly contemplating what comes next and critically evaluating every note. Jon Nadel is the perfect bass player for this band and although, he isn't an original member, he keeps both Danny and Dani in check while bringing a masterful bass technique and skill on his fret-to-fretless bass guitar. The heartbeat of Marbin is drummer Blake Jiracek, who is always in his own world, tirelessly keeping up with the other members and pushing the rhythmic structure further and further.
While Marbin, hasn't reached the peak of their success, little by little, they are gaining attention and amassing a loyal following just waiting for them to explode on to the scene but which scene? Finding that direction is highly important to what Marbin could become in the future. I am sure that they will succeed in any musical route/niche they decide to pursue and I will be along for the ride.
I am looking forward to another Marbin performance in Harrisonburg, Virginia on April 4 at the Golden Pony. If you live in or around the area, feel free to contact me and we can meet up! If not, check this band out when they come to you locally, I am always truly blown away.
The curtain falls! The last week of the campaign ... Another ten bands and solo artists that attracted our interest!
Check them out!

Australia's own Rock/Roots larrikin; Asa Broomhall is about to give us his 5th independent album; ‘Jangle House’. Recorded in an iconic old Guitar Shop in Brisbane over the Easter 2011 break, ‘Jangle House’ was truly a labour of love. Recording in a historically musical place was just one reason for creating this album, as Asa's brothers house where previous albums had been recorded/mixed and where the studio was located was consumed by the January 2011 floods, and was subsequently condemned and demolished.
Hi! My name is Emmeline (rhymes with "Clemetine"), but you can call me Em.
Faintheart hails from the Sunshine State of Kansas. The Fly Over States. The Midwest. Faintheart's style combines the midwest upbringing to create emotive, introspective indie rock. That’s polished. With the release of their Self Titled EP it shows that Faintheart is here to deliver emotion, stories, authenticity, and ask a few questions along the way. Drawing from influences such as Death Cab For Cutie, The Killers, and Copeland the group culminates this sound with their first release to create art that hopefully impacts others as much as others have impacted Faintheart.

Born and raised in Northeastern PA, Chris began playing music initially as a drummer, he learned his craft on Friday and Saturday nights in the hard nosed, coal region pubs scattered throughout once vibrant towns, abandoned anthracite breakers haunting their outskirts. The bar stools were mostly occupied by tough, working class people, known for their blunt honesty but good intent. It’s that “hardness with a big heart” attitude that Chris would later carry into his songwriting. His teens and early 20’s were spent playing alongside his father and older brother, traveling with other regional acts, culminating with a stint drumming for Vince Welnick of The Tubes and The Grateful Dead.
