GOLIATH

Let your guard down, lower your arsenal

Let's go another round, let's burn it to the ground

Watch it go up in flames if you're not satisfied

Why do we even try, why'd you have to say goodbye

Hey I'm talking to you, I know the pain you've been thru

I love those things that you do

Feel the weight of the world descending of your back

Is there a wall around me, I just can't seem to find

Reload your weapon I'm taking a dive

You can call me Goliath

Wearing David strive

I'll climb the highest tree, swim in the darkest sea

End this calamity, come to reality

Watch it go up in flames if you're not satisfied

Why do we even try, why'd you have to say goodbye

Hey I'm reaching to you, I know the pain you've been thru

I love the things that you do

Feel the weight of the world descending of your back

Is there a bridge behind me,

I'll burn it to the ground

Reload your weapon I'm taking a dive

You can call me Goliath

Wearing David strive

Slow Motion Suicide is a collective of human beings crafting melodies for maladies (and ladies) in the 21st century. A four-piece band supported by a wall of sound in our live performance influenced by everything and anything simple, sounding unlike anything else you’ve ever heard whilst sounding exactly like everything else you would ever want to hear.

CELLAR DOOR

Am I a victim of circumstance?

Or can I lean on to you?

Present the jury with your defense

Guilty verdict by random chance

Was I replaced with a perfect tense?

Got my time wasted on you

Let's keep those theories for rainy days

She might be telling the truth

So trap me, close the cellar door

I think, I've been here before

Dungeon walls they feel so cold

Torture me with words of gold

Was it sacrifice, lonely paradise

A sullen box of tears

Dirty alibis in a whiskey glass

A lifetime worth of lies... How do you survive?

I turn around and I fall asleep

Cannot stay awake

Why should I shed my skin for you?

Nightmare's coming to play

Thief and a liar, I'm finally sober

Started this fire, I am the motor

Flames rising higher, over my shoulder

Burning desire, but I'm getting colder

REVOLUTION

Free your mind from electrical thoughts

Learn to release what you have been taught

Find me a reason, find me a reason

To fight

Self-absorbed, concieded and blonde

Get on your knees, obey and succumb

This is a reason, this is a reason

To fight

This should be a reason, a reason to fight!

Save your soul, maybe I'm not able

To belong, this is not a fable

Look for more, than some crumbs

Right of your table

Revolution come on,

Revolution, tag along

See the forest thru the trees

Reminisce childhood memories

This is a reason, this is a reason

To fight Is there a cure for this disease

Hurricane rises from a breeze

This is a reason, this is a reason

To fight This should be a reason, a reason to fight!

Does it hurt? Does it sting?

Does it burn from somewhere within?

Lovesick Radio are a Pop/Rock band formed in 2006 in Las Vegas, Nevada, borne out of an ever growing pedigree for success. The six- piece unit are fronted by Lead singer Troy Brown whos is joined by Drummer Matt Seskevics, Bassist Glenn Viers and guitarists David Harris and Matt Bores.

They have toured extensively throughout the States in support of prestigious acts like Kid Rock, Bon Jovi, Scott Weiland, Three Days Grace etc . As well as this, They have toured across the Far- East in countries like Japan South Korea and China, including a recent appearance at ChangJiang Music Festival. They have even featured on MTV programmes “My Sweet Super Sixteen and “Bands on the Rise” They have been described as an “ unapologetic arena pop-rock band that you actually want to hear”. This is a fair assessment from a band with an arsenal of well written rock songs that focuses on Love, Betrayal and social disorders.

The band write wholesome music full of Rock ‘N’ Roll attitude coupled with a hint of Honky Tonk and blues influences that bring that much needed swagger modern day rock acts crave.

I will be looking at a few tracks from their back catalogue, before there upcoming LP is released.

Numb Me Up ( Stripped) is an acoustic version of the original hit. This track is a ballad I personally feel is about a man talking about the struggles he finds in a relationship with a loved one. The basic strumming patterns and hushed vocals produce an unlayered track full of melodies.

Tell Me Why is a pulse rating hard rock tune that has Boogie Rock influences . The opening riff adds salvo with slide guitar effects that adds an extra layer to the music .A huge pop chorus blends with the high energy of the music and the defiant message that will keep those fists pumping.

Hooray ( She Got Her Way) shows the band’s blues influences growing. The mid-tempo feel adds a confident vibe to the song’s structure. Brown snarls about a promiscuous woman full of sarcasm with trumpets added in the background and meaty riff that is testament to the musical craftsmanship

Come Together is an anthem that shows how the sounds evolves. This guitar orientated track has a tenacious riff that blends with soulful vocals and tasty breakdowns with a delicious solo that fits in towards the end.

Lovesick Radio certainly deserve more success. It will be interesting to hear anymore capabilities from the new LP.

https://www.facebook.com/LoveSickRadioBand/ The page is encouraging for fans with updated information on concert dates, news , colourful pictures and an opportunity for a livestreaming gig via Stageit.

https://twitter.com/lovesickradio This is another good page for fans with snippets of the band in the studio and information on further gigs. This provides a more personal interaction with followers, which I enjoyed reading.

Band Interview

Could you tell us how you first met The Old School Project?

First I wanted to say thanks for taking the time to interview the band. As for the question; I wish I had a better answer for this but it was through the power of the Internet.

Could you explain to new listeners how you first met? And why you chose to form a band?

This version of LSR really came together after Troy and I ( David) recorded “ Hooray (She Got Her Way)”. We really enjoyed the process and decided to write some more songs together and just see what happens. After that things just started happening fast & we are still playing catch up.

What is the reason behind the name?

The name came from something our old drummer said. He was going through a break up and mentioned how every song he was hearing on the radio was about heartbreak. It was almost like the radio was love sick. We all just kinda looked at each other and said I think we have the name.

You recently performed at the Changjiang Music Festival in China, Could you tell us a bit about that experience?

This was our third time in China. We love the Country and the people. It’s pretty crazy to play for a few hundred thousand people. The people that bring us over and their crew are some of the best people to work with. Plus the crowds are great and we can’t wait to go back! We feel blessed to get to travel to all these different counties.

You have also performed in Japan and South Korea, What is a usual Far- East crowd like compared to a home crowd?

Each country and town are different. But the thing that’s really the same throughout the world no matter where you are is music brings people together. Everyone is there is have a good time and so are we!

Did you get to go sightseeing around the area? And the festival itself?

Sometimes we do! And when we get the chance we definitely love getting out to the city or around the people at the shows. But a lot of the time all we get to see is what we see through the window of the bus as we pass these beautiful landscapes.

Where there any local bands in particular that caught your eye?

There was this band that went on before us in China that was killer. I’m blanking on the name right now! We love catching the bands sets that we get to share the stage with.

You have some dates coming up, could you tell fans what to expect from the shows, and do you have any guests?

The shows are going to be fun with a ton of energy. We are looking forward to getting out with Wayland for a few dates. They are great live !

You have had the privilege to share the stage with an array of musicians like Scott Weiland, Hinder, Three Days Grace, Paramore and a host more, what was it like to perform with them, and who was the biggest influence on the band?

For me Scott Weiland was huge. I grew up loving Stone Temple Pilots and still do. Bon Jovi & Kid Rock was pretty crazy as well cuz those were stadium shows. And I think everyone grew up hearing those bands songs on the radio non -stop.

The band’s latest single “You Should’ve Known” is been broadcasted ON Air  on The Old School Project 24/7.

Liron Single Review / Interview

LIRON RETURNS WITH NEW SUMMER SINGLE “PINA COLADAS”
20 July 2018 (Toronto, ON) – After teasing the track earlier this month, Award-Winning singer/songwriter Liron returns with triumphant new single “Pina Coladas”. Co-produced by Liron and Producers Jeff Mcollough (Shania Twain, Chris De Burgh)  and Max River (Shawn Mendes, Jonah Marias, Sebastian Olzanski) and written by Liron, “Pina Coladas” is a sure-fire Summer hit with a fun and carefree vibe, about escaping your worries and living your life!
“Pina Coladas” is the first new single released by Liron since “I Love The Feeling” in August 2016. The track reached 50,000 views and within the first hour got the hashtag #ilovethefeelingvideo to the third top trending hashtag on Twitter worldwide, passing IHeartRadio’s Britney Spears’ inspired tag #Iheartlovesbritney.  She has amassed over 15,000 followers on Instagram, nearly 6,000 followers on Twitter and nearly 3,000 likes on Facebook.
Since graduating from production and audio engineering school, Liron has been busily honing her craft and developing a strong social media presence, and is now on the verge of taking the pop music world by storm. Her new single “Pina Coladas” is the next step in this incredible journey.

Liron Single Review

Produced by Max River and Jeff Mcullough, one would expect the new single to be amazing, and musician Liron certainly does not disappoint. Piña Coladas is a summer anthem, the interesting edm sounds accompanied by Liron's powerful vocals makes for a delicious and diverting sundowner.

A change from her previous tracks, Piña Coladas is as refreshing and invigorating as its namesake. Liron's past tracks carry the same beat, but lack the power and confidence behind her vocals. Signs of further development in her sound has enabled a more impactful vocal which has allowed the track to reach new highs. The song is incredibly catchy and only needs one listen before you know all the words. Fans of Ariana Grande, Katy perry or Olivia O’Brien will love this single!

A Piña Coladas has everything in it needed to create a cool summer tune. One dash of a smooth EDM vibe, two dashes of hearty vocals, and a hint of romance. Everything needed is covered in Liron's latest track. When listening, you get visions of a tranquil summer's day, you can hear the sound of the waves crashing onto the shore, and can see the frost forming on your freshly made piña colada.its almost dangerous to listen to, all thoughts of a productive work day disappear.

Liron's former music is about yearning for love, but in the new single, there is a sense of freedom which is empowering for many men and women alike. The song promotes happiness with is slick summer beat and many people will find themselves forgetting about the day's woes.

On social media, Liron portrays herself as a sweet aspiring Musician , which allows for a larger audience across all different age groups. Liron posts manage keep the audience interested but not overwhelmed which is no easy feat. Liron's posts are informative across all social media platforms and are definitely worth a follow.

Overall, the latest single Piña Colada by Liron is definitely worth a listen or two. I say kick back, have a listen, and try to resist the urge of making a piña colada. This single is a success, and I can't wait to hear her future music and hopefully some collaborations.

Liron Interview

Good morning, could you tell me how you found out about The Old School Project?

I originally found out about The Old School Project because of a love for music blogs, and a set of

recommendations from friends to view your site.

What bands/Musicians are you influenced by?

I was obsessed with 90s-2000s divas growing up. My biggest inspirations from that era were probably Whitney Houston and Christina Aguilera. More recently however, I am inspired by Ariana Grande, Demi Lovato and Olivia O’Brien.

What was the inspiration behind the title piña colada?

The song Piña Coladas was written first and the title given after. With the songs vacation vibe and carefree message I had to really think about which drink is, to me at least, the best to sip on when on vacation or at the beach etc. Personally, that drink was the piña colada.

What's the plan for your future career as a Musician?

The plan, currently, is just to release as much music as I can and hopefully have people enjoy it.

Are there any collaborations in the future and if you had the chance who would you collaborate  with and why?

At the moment no, but I have a few people in mind for future collaborations. My dream collaboration would be Harry Styles. I love his work and his personality is all about caring for the people and social justice which I'm all for.

Describe the Creative process. Is there a certain time or emotion needed to write?

I think, to write anything, there is a certain emotive process to it. For me, writing comes easiest when I'm in a pretty emotional state, whether it is good or bad.

What is the ultimate direction for your music. Fame and fortune or everlasting legacy?

Haha, I mean, that would be insanely amazing but I think my goal isn't to bathe in a bathtub of diamonds and hundred dollar bills. I just want people to use my music as a way to heal or grow. The whole point of this song was to inspire people to be who they are in an overtly judgemental world. When they play Piña Coladas, I want young women to not focus on the idealism of love or the impossibility of perfection, I want the focus to be on enjoying life, because I know it's cliches but life is Super short and there is no time to look back or forward- you have to live in the moment.

How has your music evolved throughout the years?

When I started writing poems I was 11. I transitioned into songwriting when I was 16, and I was in a completely different place emotionally. I was insecure about myself- how I looked, how I acted and how I dressed. I was upset with myself for things I couldn't control but as I got older I realised who I was and that who I am is pretty cool. I think that's when my music took a dramatic turn. That's when I started writing songs like Piña Coladas.

Are you a full time Musician or do you have a job on the side?

I am, as of right now, a full time Musician.

And finally, one that I must ask… are you particularly fond of Piña Coladas?

Hahah, I love this question! I don't really drink but even if I did I doubt I would like Piña Coladas as I hate

coconut. I did have a really nice pineapple smoothie once on a cruise, it was blended pineapple and crushed

ice, INSIDE OF A PINEAPPLE. How cool is that! But no, not a fan of Piña Coladas.

Radiofix released their original studio album "Already Gone" standing behind great song writing, instrumentation, and flat out rock and roll. Radiofix sticks to the basics of being original, playing their asses off, and writing from the heart. Each song a story in itself, Radiofix prides themselves on giving the audience something they want to hear live, and making records you want to listen to over and over.
The release of "Already Gone" marks a turning point for the band, adding Ben Thurston on bass guitar and Jorge Gutierrez Jr. on drums, both bringing their originality and separate influences to produce a hard hitting rock rhythm section.
"Already Gone" is Daniel Martin's take on finding yourself, leaving that person behind, and digging as deep as you can to find something bigger than yourself.

FlowState
FlowState is a Rock band from Jacksonville Beach, Florida. Their sound is a hard-rocking take on 90's grunge with influences from Nirvana and Alice in Chains to Foo Fighters and Puddle of Mudd.

The Ultraviolet
A four-piece band who pride themselves in playing huge, tight and energetic shows with a sound that can most accurately be described as Alternative Rock with a dash of Pop-Punk.
Over the course of 2016, The Ultraviolet have had success with the release of their debut music video 'Wake Up Dead' which resulted in interviews, airplay and live sessions on BBC Introducing shows. This was also accompanied by a UK tour and a bunch of festival shows around the Country, including Mudfest with Scouting For Girls and Goldie Looking Chain. Since 2017, the band have released their EP 'The Tales Of Our Youth' receiving praise from the likes of BBC introducing which resulted in another UK tour including a massive sold out hometown show. Their vigorous touring schedule has also recently seen the band play 2Q Festival Lincoln where they shared the bill with acts such as Circa Waves, Pulled Apart By Horses and Arcane Roots.

Touch the Buffalo
We are an Indie Grunge band based out of Arlington, VA. We began in 2016 with just a uke and some original songs. We've gone from singer/songwriter type music to an Indie Grunge band with a really unique sound. Take a listen to our debut EP and hear for yourself! While you're at it, subscribe to our website for updates and blog releases! We're in the habit of promoting other local artists because we simply love the DC music scene! We know you will too!

Skyeline
Alternative band from Ocean County, NJ. Pulling influences from indie and pop acts like The Killers and Death Cab For Cutie, but not afraid experiment with the heavier side of things like Deftones and Failure, Skyeline's sound is unique and captivating. The band was formed in the winter of 2015 by guitarist Brandon Cruz and bassist Jack Rose who met while attending the audio recording course at Ocean County Vocational Technical School. They soon met vocal major Brittany Byrne from the Performing Arts Academy and instantly clicked. Skyeline intends to experiment with letting different genres collide while retaining an honest and human element to songwriting all while providing an entertaining live show.

GAINSTRIVE

OUR MUSIC IS AN INTERESTING BLEND OF MANY DIFFERENT INFLUENCES WITH ROOTS STEMMING FROM ROCK, PUNK, ALTERNATIVE, AND METAL. YOU MIGHT PICK UP ON A PUNCHY PUNK GROOVE, HOLDING UP A THICK WALL OF CHUNKY POWER CHORDS. YOU MAY HEAR A HEADBANGING BREAKDOWN, BURIED UNDER A HAUNTING VOCAL MELODY AND CATCHY HARMONIES. THE BOTTOM LINE IS SIMPLE: IF YOU LIKE HIGH ENERGY RIFFING, FLOWING MELODIC LEADS, AND CATCHY VOCAL MELODIES, THIS BAND IS FOR YOU! OUR SONGS DEFINITELY HAVE A CLEAR AND COHESIVE STYLE, BUT EACH OF THEM ARE WRITTEN WITH A UNIQUE SOUND AND FEELING IN MIND. WHETER IT'S THE DARK ATMOSPHERIC APPROACH WE CREATE IN "TRUTH IN DEMISE" OR THE GRUNGY ALT TEXTURE FLESHED OUT IN "LEFT BEHIND", WE WANT TO GIVE THE LISTENER A SENSE OF IMMERSION.

Auramancer
Blaede is a Belgian musician, singer and songwriter. Along with some childhood friends, he forms the alternative rock band Auramancer in 2000, performs a few gigs, and records a 4 track demo before putting the band on hold in 2005.
In 2007, searching for a more aggressive yet groovy rock style, he forms the stoner rock band the1984, influenced by Alice in Chains, Down and Silverchair. Their first album, 'Room 101', is written, recorded and produced by Blaede at studio Sainte-Marthe in Paris. 'Room 101' is well received by critics and is the catalyst for the1984’s success in playing shows and performing strongly in music competitions all over Belgium.

Science of the Lamps
Quite appropriately ‘Science of the Lamps’ was dreamt up by Norwegian Liverpool musician Kaya in an off the beaten track restaurant in the fairytale darkness of the city of Prague on a dark December night. Mainly because of a misheard movie title, and an abnormal love for puns.
A band perfect for festivals and encompassing all that is music, storytelling, art, creative flair, melancholy and silliness - framed in catchy songs, lyrical gems and outstanding musicianship from the quirky band. Their inspiration comes from vaudeville, visual art, early Hollywood movie scores, Nordicana, wine, flamenco, trip-hop, music boxes, Paris and whiskey bars.

Fresh Breath
Fresh Breath consists of husband and wife Josh and Katie Pascoe. The focus is creating music that makes you move, makes you groove and makes something different happen in your ears. With high energy and intensely emotional live performances it’s obvious they have a hell of a lot of fun doing it.

Stead Job is an old-school rock band from the metropolitan area of São Paulo, Brazil that hits the road on a customized yellow van called "The Kombosa Submarine" (Any reference to a certain quartet of Liverpool is not a coincidence). These four Classic Rock´n 'Roll aficionados bring a part of rock history live to the stage. I talked to Vanessa Abreu, lead singer and guitar player is responsible for the amazing female vocals. She represents the Pin Up and of the 50´s.

(GF) Characterization is an important element not only of your performance, but it seems to be part of the very concept of the band. Can you tell us more about it?

(VA) We thought of a way of mixing the previous experiences of the members, who had been over 20 years on the road in many bands of different styles. We dress as characters who represent our favorite decades in the history of rock music. I am the Pin Up, with red lipstick, representing the 1950´s aura. I also try to show that there is a place for women in rock. Lêu Abreu, the drummer, is the hippie of the 1960s. His costumes evokes the vibe of Woodstock. Renatera, the bass player is passionate about the 1970´s Groove and Marquinhos Carvalho, guitar player, is a represents the geek culture of the 80's.

(GF) What is the typical repertoire of a show?

(VA) The show's repertoire includes a hand full of classics, hit songs from Led Zeppelin, Queen, Janis Joplin and Creedence, among others. The Brazilian rock is represented by Rita Lee and Raul Seixas. And, of course, there´s also Beatles. Actually, we got the name of the band from the lyrics of "She came in through the bathroom window" and "Paperback Writer". We like to think of it as the perfect soundtrack for a road trip.

(GF) Who is in the audience of Steady Job?

(VA) The band has been together for three years and after almost a hundred shows in the curriculum, we realize that Steady Job attracts both young and old children interested in the sound and the story of rock music. Our motto is "Rock brings people together". I think the elderly have their memories revived and youngsters start to learn about the rhythm and develop a taste for it. Sometimes our fans turn into friends these relationships go beyond show days and come to life in genuine friendships. Last year we recorded a CD with the favorites of the audience. It also included the single "Three Wishes", the group's first composition.

(GF) How about future projects?

At the end of this year, we will record our first EP! We still don´t have an official release date, but I can already tell you that the album is full of love stories, from different points of view. We mixed the melodic styles of folk and powerful choruses of pop, but with a vintage signature, that is our trademark.

Her haunting voice and melodies and harmonies are instinctive and Mikalyn operates at a speed and capacity at a level much beyond her young age.  Mikalyn combines this natural ability with relentless learning and is constantly seeking to collaborate and study from the best.  Already a seasoned performer, she spends weekend jamming at open mics accompanying herself on the keys doing originals and covers ranging from Radiohead  to Cohen.

White Label Analog

The result is an eclectic group of songs that seems to pull as much from pop rock traditions like The Killers as they do from indie bands like Two Door Cinema Club and Modest Mouse. Songs like “Rainmaker” retain infectious melodies while simmering with big rock bombast. In an era of convergence between indie rock and pop music, White Label Analog is the daring alliance between the two. Call it indie rock for the poptimist generation.
White Label Analog is not worried about trying to fit in to any genre labels or follow any trends in music. “Trying to copy or chase what's already happening is like chasing a moving target,” Didear says. “We just want to create honest music that is fun, engaging, but still has a little attitude.”

Kris Angelis

Kris Angelis has been living musically her whole life. “My mom says I’ve been singing since before I could talk. I would sing melodies when I didn’t actually know words.” Growing up on a farm in Florida, Angelis spent her childhood playing, running around the farm, and making up songs with her twin sister. They composed their first song at the age of three -- and it lives on now, interwoven into one of Kris’s more recent works.

Menage

The Ferreira siblings spent there whole childhood travelling between Toronto Canada, and Small town Portugal where their heritage and much of their family still lived. Through being divided between Canadian, indoor boredom, and European culture, the common thread that was present on both sides of the globe, was the influence of the music that they were exposed to.
The household was soon filled with a drum set, a keyboard, and some traditional portuguese guitars. As quite common, the kids grew apart, Bela, recording piano based song ideas, keeping to herself, performing wherever she could . From various new york city open mics to touring in Canada.
Brothers Gabriel and Basilio kicked around Toronto, Los Angeles, started bands, fought, would self destruct, and do it again.

Alissa Musto

Being the daughter of a real "piano man", Alissa’s interest in performing began at four years old when she begged her father, Billy Musto, to go to work with him. They made a deal---if she learned to play the piano, she could come. Less than a year later and equipped with a wooden block to reach the pedals, Alissa won her first piano competition performing Beethoven's Moonlight Sonata. Eager to follow in her father’s footsteps and adding rock and vocals to her arrangements, Alissa grabbed the attention of local talent shows, NBC's Spotlight on the Student Artist series and eventually, the national television series, "America's Most Talented Kid".

Dylan Swinson

Dylan Swinson began playing guitar at the age of 10 in his childhood home in Summerville, South Carolina. He was inspired when his mother would play some of her favorite cds while dropping him off at school. These included albums from Better Than Ezra, The Cure, and Edwin McCain. One day, she puts in Jeff Buckley's Grace and Dylan was immediately hooked on the album. After watching Buckley's "Live in Chicago" DVD, he knew he wanted to learn how to be a musician.

In 2011, Dylan moved back to Charleston, South Carolina the day after his high school graduation. He began playing open mics around the area while attending The Art Institute of Charleston for Filmmaking. After graduating from The Art Institute in 2014, Dylan used his Graduation money to record his first EP "Freedom & Solitude", leaning toward an Acoustic Alternative Singer/Songwriter feel. It was released on July 18, 2015.

Chase K

When Chase K writes a song, he writes with purpose. His music is unabashedly pop with undeniable hooks, and he owns it.

Hitting the court as a nationally-ranked tennis player transitioned to hitting the stage as a musician. Guitars replaced racquets. Originals replaced covers. From bands, to collaborations, to solo gigs, Chase honed his craft - outworking the competition.

Chase has collaborated with, among others, producer Warren Huart (Aerosmith; The Fray), producer Brian Howes (Nickelback; Daughtry), and producer John Alagia (John Mayer).

Hear his music, watch his videos, catch him live, and feel the magic.

Billy Thompson (Band)

Billy Thompson’s performances have captured audiences in the U.S. and throughout Europe, setting the tone for this veteran musician’s songwriting, singing, and guitar playing, both live and in the studio. In his original music, he combines world-class slide guitar, searing licks and soulful vocals with a unique amalgamation of styles including blues, rock, funk, New Orleans and soul. Some say, “It’s like Hendrix meets Little Feat!”

Billy has played with legends such as Little Milton, Albert King, Earl King and Art Neville, while opening for the likes of Robert Cray, B.B. King, Sonny Landreth, The Neville Brothers and Joe Cocker, to name a few. He has performed on Barbara Walter’s “The View” and with the San Diego Symphony. He also performed for the grand opening of L.A.’s House of Blues. Billy has been invited to play with such icons as the Doobie Brothers, Bill Payne, John Mooney and Ron Holloway. He has provided lead guitar for the Broadway show “Ain’t Nothin’ but the Blues” and for Award winning playwright Keith Glover’s Bluesical, “Thunder Knocking on the Door,” Billy also served as musical supervisor for Geva Theatre’s 2015 Journey to the Son in Rochester, NY. A tribute to Son House, BT and band also played the festival.

Jason Sees Band

Jason Sees Band's fifth installment has essentially re-defined their sound. A light hearted, electric guitar driven, rock collection. It sharply contradict Jason's usual themes of solace and introspection. Troubadour roots be dammed, Jason rocks here and Seattle's indie music community is finally showing signs of coming to life.

"I tried to lighten up the conceptualization. I picked up my 335 and haven't put it down" Jason says, as we catch up back stage before a show at High Dive, Seattle, WA. "These are all contributing factors to this new direction of music. But I tried to hold on to my roots while progressing, in the middle of some of the more light hearted songs you will still here my usual rhetorical style for those that care to listen."

The Brothers Footman

Every once in a great while the stars align to bring together an abundance of talent, dedication, and commitment to excellence; such is the case with Dikembe, Gerald, Micah, and Joshua Footman. Their breakout hit Clear Country Sky seems to have struck the right chords and challenges musical barriers that dictate they be boxed into a particular sound or genre of music.  From the initial rifts of the acoustic guitar you get the sense that Country Sky will be an instant classic. Add to that the unique and blended harmonies of the brothers and before you know it you’re hooked by the catchy, addictive lyrics.

In 2017 The Brothers Footman signed a record label deal with Victory Music Buzz, LLC.

STEREOFEET

StereoFeet is an American rock band formed in Chattanooga, Tennessee by Chris Graham and Leon Walker. Lyrically, their themes of universal struggles, hope in adversity, self-examination, and striving for goodness, are issues everyone can relate to and receive encouragement from. Neither trendy nor antiquated in style, the band aims for music with no expiration date. This is a serious and hard-driving band, but they have their softer side with some subtler, bittersweet acoustic elements interspersed. The conviction and commitment inspiring StereoFeet is strikingly apparent in their intense, energetic live shows. They consistently pour out everything they have onstage when they perform.

The songs are a reflection on some of the darker times in Indigo’s life and an exploration of love and loss, not least the loss of his close friend and bass player, Dean Michael, who died tragically in 2013.

Joel Cross

Joel grew up singing gospel songs with his seven siblings. His heartfelt approach showcased his ability to make each piece sound new, truly a sound all his own. One afternoon, while playing the Dallas Arboretum, Joel decided to appease the crowd’s unconventional request for a song by Taylor Swift. A fan happened to catch his very soulful rendition of “Shake it Off” on video and uploaded it to YouTube. By the next morning, it had over half a million views, and Joel’s face was on every major news source in Dallas. The viral video quickly catapulted his career as he captured the attention of fans across the globe, including Ellen DeGeneres, America’s Got Talent, Capitol Records, Time, and MTV. Four-time Grammy award-winning artist, India Arie, was also intrigued by Joel when she heard one of his original songs, “Candlelight,” and invited him to collaborate with her on her upcoming album.

Mark of 1000 Evils

After being bereft of band-related shenanigans for a while, Dan & Jeff met over ballet lessons and set about making some noise... Bringing Andy in through a mistaken Russian Bride order over the web.

Le Folli Arie

Le Folli Arie become a reality in 2012. The band is made of four musicians living in Milan that have a huge live experience. They all have worked in various musical projects and share a common love for music from the 70's (Yes, Genesis, Pink Floyd, PFM, Banco di Mutuo Soccorso, Area,...). They have also been influenced by grunge, pop, latin, funk, jazz, heavy metal. The clash and melt of all these musical influences gave birth to Le Folli Arie's unique style.
The process of making the band sound whole and unique required 2 years of labor-intensive work..
Once you listen throughout the album you can perceive the binding that gathers the 13 tracks together.
The listener is able to experience many extremely different atmospheres and emotional episodes and to appreciate a deep sense of coherence throughout the entire listening experience.
That's why defining Le Folli Arie's style is not a simple task: it could be prog music dressed as pop or the exact opposite.
