New Gems Rising

Joel Cross

Joel Cross is a Grammy- Nominated soul singer from Texas, whom achieved global stardom after his rendition of Taylor Swift’s “Shake It Off “received over a million views on You Tube. Cross soon attracted the interest of Capitol Records, America’s Got Talent and Grammy- Award winner Indi Arie, whom he collaborated with on her award winning 2017 album “Songsversation: Medicine. Cross is currently recording the follow up entitled Worthy . Cross’ voice is strong, enriched in heart and raw emotion that will be difficult not to appreciate with elements of gospel incorporated into the sound. India Arie describes Cross’s voice as “beautiful baritone coming from a beautiful heart”.

http://www.joelcross.com/

This is another well-presented site with striking images of Cross that conveys the message of a talented singer with some links to music, videos, lyrics and a compelling biography.

https://www.facebook.com/joelcross.music

This is another compelling account featuring updates on cross’s performances, Magazine appearances, photos of friends and fans, plus videos of covers too. This is an all-round informative account that appeals to all fans.

InCrest

It was whilst in Boarding School, Danish Grunge rockers’ InCrest were formed by Male Slywest, Jonas Tange and former Bassist Jonas Berthelsen in 2003.

The band initially formed through the inspiration of nineties' acts like Soundgarden and Nirvana with the intentions of emulating them.

In 2007, Berthelsen was replaced by Ande Hagedorn- Olson, which soon saw the band change musical direction into a more progressive sound, incorporating bands such as Tool and Porcupine Tree.. They play roaring melodies and frantic guitar- orientated rock with thought-provoking lyrics. They have released two studio albums thus far; The 2014 Rubicon Atlas & this year’s latest release The Ladder, The Climb and The Fall.

http://increst.dk/

This is an accessible site with a strong colour coordination that is easy to maneuver. There are latest news updates from the band’s social accounts, music videos, photos and an informative biography. I feel this an efficient site for new fans.

https://www.facebook.com/increstband/

This is another organized account with regular updates on the band’s promo, plus photos of the band relaxing, as well as videos of them on tour. This is certainly enough to pique the interest.

Billy Thompson

Billy Thompson is a wily veteran, whose songwriting, slide guitar technique and performances have won him new fans across USA. His music has been described as “Hendrix meets Little Feat”. Thompson has performed with fellow veterans such as Albert King and Art Neville, along with opening up for Robert Cray and Sonny Landreth.

His styles incorporate a large pool of genres like funk, blues, rock and soul.

Billy Thompson recently released his 8th studio album BT”.

https://billythompsonmusic.com/

As with all the pages I have reviewed thus far, this is another well maintained site I enjoyed perusing. I can tell Thompson is a well-respected musician by the way it has been presented. I liked how it wasn’t flash and bright, which made it easy to read. There are some reviews under the news section for all of us music writers to look through (smiley face), alongside tour dates, photos of Thompson with the legendary itinerary he has befriended. There are also recordings and an endorsement link, which can be of interest to any musician out there.

https://www.facebook.com/Billy-Thompson-433934915716/

This site doesn’t have much information in comparison to the homepage. The posts are more geared towards promoting gigs, rather than informing new fans. The videos are a nice touch with some performances with renowned musicians, and the photos show Thompson’s fun side .

Greg Larkin

Greg Larkin is a something of an unusual prodigy. The self- taught guitarist plays largely acoustic instrumental through a fingerpicking/tapping style, which creates a feeling there are more than one guitar playing at once. He has been touring for 6 years, supporting stars like Nick Harper, Arthur Brown & Wallis Bird. Larkin incorporates different genres like Jazz, Blues, Latin fusion etc. Larkin recently began work with numerous figures in the world of Electronica, Jazz, Trip- Hop and Hip Hop.

Larkin recently featured on the DRS track “Your Name” with Hip Hop artist Skittles.

https://www.theinimitablegreg.com/

My first thoughts on visiting where how it is self- managed. There is little to suggest this may be a musician’s webpage, except for a gig update and a background picture of a guitar. I felt this changed when I clicked on the about section. Larkin writes a warm and personal introduction of his abilities alongside a collection of music videos and performances. I felt this was a positive for new fans. There are no photos, However, the links to Larkin’s Three albums give fans plenty to sink their teeth into.

https://www.facebook.com/greglarkinmusic/

This is another good social media page that offers more than the webpage. There are some more videos of Larkin on stage, which feels very intimate. There are regular updates on upcoming gigs and news on appearances Also, there are some great links to music too. I felt this site appealed more to the listener.

Katie Rose

Katie Rose is a Multi- Instrumentalist/ Singer/ Songwriter from Taledo, Washington. She combines Blues, Pop, rock, Soul, Latin and Reggae to create powerful choruses and easy listening beats that will leave you feeling relaxed. Rose began singing at a young age; her first performance was aged 9 at a Local Eagles show. Rose has gone on to perform with her own band, The Fun addicts, and currently attends Berklee College of Music.

http://www.katierosemusic8.com/

I felt this was a professionally run site that appeals to visitors alike. There is a large background photo of Rose with a guitar, which instantly tells me she is a musician. The interface is easy to maneuver; plus, there is easy access to music, videos of Rose performing, as well as some lovely photos of rose out and about.

https://www.facebook.com/katierosemusic8/

This is a nicely organized account that is targeted towards fans. There are some nice photos’ that mix performance and personal pics, which I felt involves fans There are some fun videos that appear to be recorded on home video too. The only negative point is there is little updates, but rather repeated promotion of the singer’s reverb nation page.

Her EP, "A Tale of Joy & Sorrow", written and produced by The Gigabots (Douglas Whatley & Prem Midha), is available for FREE download. The story of Joy Conaway has just begun.

For Joy Conaway all that matters is music so on the official website you will encounter first her songs and videos. You can feel her presence with the sensual backgrounds. Social media are available and you can find them at the bootom of the website.

ZØYA

ZØYA is an independent recording artist, singer-songwriter, musician and storyteller based in Los Angeles, CA. Her raspy, pure, emotional vocals along with unique and spunky presence on stage will wake you up if you're asleep and surely will grab your attention right away. The largest part of her music is about struggles that she was going through in her life, especially during her teenage years. Her songs are for those who need encouragement or a positive vibe throughout their day. Though mistreated by others in the past, ZØYA now imbues her music with the kind of soul somebody only gets by aligning an inner fire with a greater power.

A very well structured website boys and gilrs full of informations and profecional photographs of ZØYA. On stage or not. Very cool feature the spot where news and events are gathered on the center of the home page. Very rich social media presence also. Highlight of the website ZØYA's tour dates schedule.

P.S The old school background photo kicks ….

Of Sea and Stone

Of Sea and Stone is an emerging Americana duo known for their polished vocal harmonies and intimate songwriting. Their sound ranges from joyful to solemn, hopeful to desperate, with raw, honest lyrics carried by their haunting melodies. The duo consists of Luke Dierker and Morgan Dierker, who met in January 2014 through the popular dating app Tinder. The two quickly discovered their natural vocal chemistry and began writing together in Morgan’s hometown of Columbia, MO. The following week, the two performed their first show at Gunter Hans, a small German café in Columbia. After a few years of regularly performing in Columbia, the two got married and moved to Austin, TX.

The Americana duo introduce it self with few HD photos and connects with the music community right aways with their social media options that you can find on the top of the website.

Music, media and tour options are in the front line for the visitors. An on line shop is open too with a special item, handy and needed for the lovers of cold refreshments or beer (beer for me boys and girls).

WD-HAN

WD-HAN is an alternative indie rock band based in Tampa Bay, Florida. The band took its original form with Cal Henry on guitar, jamming and writing with high school friends. In need of a name, WD-HAN was considered and loved instantly.
Over the following years as the band continued to write new music and play bigger and better gigs they started to build a following. With the addition of Lea Campbell on drums and Spencer Barnes as the band’s front man, they developed their own kind of pop rock sound heavily influenced by a love of classic rock and blues.

There is only one word to describe a band with a girl on the drum set. F@@ing Gorgeous (two words but worth it).

The band as it seems cares more about the right promotion of their music. A very cool feauture is on the home page the new album promotion with a player to listen and buy their songs. An on line shop is active where you can buy T-shirts or the new album.

Social media are available too on every page on the right.

Something that the band must add on the website is the band's BIO.

Highlight of the band it is the very clever name. In fact it is more a statement of the band that they (We) Don’t Have A Name!

Le Lien

Le Lien is a Soulful Artist and Actor from Austin, Texas. Her music has been described as “unique, with a feminine grit”. I see similarities with her evocative charm that incorporates, Rock, Pop, Blues, Soul with Rock ‘N’ Roll styling. She has released two worldwide singles in “Give Me Your Love “and “Somebody to Love”, which has gained much coverage on Radio Stations.

https://www.facebook.com/LeLienMusic/ This feels more like the singer’s home page with regular updates of her gigs, as well simple things like favourite films. Also, there are some music performance videos, as well as an array of intimate pictures from her childhood, family and food pics. There is an opportunity to sign up for more information. I feel LeLien manages theses accounts as a way to grow closer is to her fanbase.

http://www.lelien.com/ This site has a dropdown menu for fans to listen to her music, upcoming shows, photo gallery and some latest posts. This feels like it is more personal between the singer and visitors. There is also a contact form and Instagram feed for fans more interested.

Cellar Door PDX

Cellar Door PDX is a Portland- based Alternative Rock band formed by two old college mates., whom have been writing partners for years, forging a strong following across the Eugene and Portland areas. The band are said to write melodic guitar lines with unique chord progressions and off- beats. I see this in each song the band write, which encompasses different styling in blues, funk, soul, and electronica with powerful vocals and thought-provoking lyrics. The band’s main influences are Pearl Jam, QOTSA, Modest Mouse and The Doors among many.

Cellar Door are signed to DRD records, which released latest EP “ Right Here Right Now “

Cellar DoorPDX are;

  • Ian Hanley - Vocals

  • Ben Carmine - Guitar

  • Alec Maier - Drums

https://www.reverbnation.com/cellardoorpdx This site provides plenty of music, an extensive Bio, and photos. The only argument is that there doesn’t seem to be any recent updates.

https://www.facebook.com/cellardoorpdx/ This is another accessible site with music performancesand photos from recent gigs, The band seem to not have any updates for a while, which can make it hard to attract new fans

Bands To Keep On Your Radar

Crane Technique

Crane Technique is an electronic rock artist from the streets of Ventura, CA. This is the solo project of musician Paul Wheatley. The music has a strong influence from indie rock, alternative rock and 80s pop. The latest single, 'Just 4 2Nite', is available now via digital stores including iTunes.

https://www.facebook.com/CraneTechnique/ - Crane Technique's Facebook profile is a well-maintained one with regular posts from the artist. Several videos are available, as well as photographs with live band photography and 'behind the scenes' images. What I enjoyed on this profile is the link to other social media apps using widgets, so I had instant access to Crane Technique's Twitter, Instagram and YouTube. I would recommend a link to a band profile to access a music playlist and tour dates.

https://www.instagram.com/crane.technique/ - the Instagram account is not as well-maintained as Facebook, but there are enjoyable promotional and personal images available. A nice balance exists between the different types of images making this an engaging account. I would recommend a link to Crane Technique's official website in the personal information section.

https://www.cranetechniquemusic.com/ - Crane Technique's emphasis on his releases is evident in his official website with playlists and merchandise available on the landing page. This is a good technique, particularly since links to photographs, tour dates and contact information can be easily found. I would recommend a biography section to promote the artist or an EPK link with press information.

The Royal Turns

Hailing from Atlanta, GA, The Royal Turns is a folk-rock five-piece set to take the world by storm. Since their formation on two years ago in 2016, this guitar-driven rock 'n' roller, bluesy, folksy, Fleetwood Mac-cy inspired band are something I'm happy to come across. While they were formed in 2016, the group only released their debut EP in 2018 to a positive reception. During their promotional shows, they continue to work on more material for a full-length album and experiment with new sounds to keep fans engaged.

The Royal Turns are:

Summer Grace on vocals and keys.
Celeena Corbin on drums, vocals and percussion.
Tim Perryman on guitar and vocals.
Kaleb Garrett on guitar and vocals.
Sean O'Keeffe Jr. on bass guitar.

https://www.facebook.com/theroyalturns/ - The Royal Turns' Facebook account is one of the more well-maintained and engaging accounts with which I have been presented. Seemingly more a personal account than a band, posts are made regularly with a good balance between promotional and 'fun'. Many photos are available with a plethora of live band images, as well as several videos to keep new and old fans engaged. Links to other social media accounts are available, as well as gig listings and contact details. My only recommendation is a band profile widget with access to a music playlist.

https://www.instagram.com/theroyalturns/ - Once again, a well-maintained social media account with a good balance between professional and personal images. A link to their official website is available in the details section with a biography, which is useful from a press perspective. I don't have any qualms regarding this account.

http://www.theroyalturns.com/ - A very well laid out website with a simple structure and menu on the top making it easy to navigate. The social media links are also immediately visible, so it is easy to follow these links if one would wish to do so. The new album is very prominently advertised on the landing page, which is beneficial for obvious reasons; plus, I love how there are Instagram and Spotify widgets further down on the home page. I don't see any problems with this website; it seems all the bases are covered.

Hambone Relay

Stepping out of Philadelphia, the gentlemen of Hambone Relay are redefining the modern organ trio using a unique combination of jazz, funk, rock and psychedelic grooviness. The band was founded by organist Mark Brown who originally performed with Baltimore's The Bridge as a keyboardist. Fortunately, he moved along to build Hambone Relay drawing inspiration from organists Billy Preston and Jimmy Smith resulting in an overwhelming musical brew. Hambone Relay released their latest album, American Hi-Fi, in 2018.

https://www.facebook.com/HamboneRelay/ - Hambone Relay's Facebook account is a relatively well-maintained one focusing on the professional side of things. The first item you will see when logging on is their shop with various merchandise, all rather amusing and affordable. My favourite is the 'Free Hugs Poster', so perhaps I could schmooze some free merch? In other news, the FB account has videos, playlists, gig dates, several photographs, and contact details. My only recommendation is listing other social media accounts in the 'about' section. Now, about that free merch...

https://www.instagram.com/hambonerelay/ - a combination of professional and 'behind the scenes' shots on a well-maintained Instagram account. I'll admit, I'm not an expert when it comes to Instagram, but I do know that a balance between these two styles is excellent for fan engagement. I also enjoy the combination of images and videos (what are those Instagram videos called?). I enjoy how the band's following gig is advertised in their personal information section - a handy marketing tactic.

https://www.hambonerelay.com/ - Hambone Relay's official website is a very well laid-out, and it's clear to note their emphasis on subscription and the latest album. An easy to navigate menu can be found at the top, along with an EPK which is beneficial for press purposes. Access to social media links are available; super if you want to engage more with the band. Finally, there is clear contact details information making it easy to get in touch with the band if needs be. I also like the background image which is entertaining and easy on the eyes.

The Tweed

Initially intended to be a quintet, The Tweed is a Moscow/Los Angeles rock duo in the style of Coldplay and Maroon 5. Working together, singer and guitarist Greg Pekk and drummer Matt Shepard started building a group that would take on the unsigned world. By April 2016, the band had sifted through their mass of material to release a single, 'Someone I Know', which was well-acclaimed and received airtime on stations across the globe. In September 2016, The Tweed won the Unsigned Only 2016 competition competing with over 6000 entries. In December 2017, they released their single 'You Better Know My Name!'

The Tweed is:

Greg Pekk on vocals, guitar and keys.
Matt Shepard on drums and percussion.

https://www.facebook.com/Tweed.Is/ - The Tweed's Facebook account is not one of the busiest with few posts, but that doesn't mean it isn't engaging with the content it has. The wording of the posts are conversational, the photos aren't all promotional with some live images, and the band has a band profile available for playlist access. Remaining professional, the gentlemen have contact details and a biography; however, I wonder if they have any other social media accounts to link?

https://www.reverbnation.com/tweedis - Always a good option, The Tweed have chosen to use their Reverbnation profile as an official website. Their featured songs, videos and gallery are available on the landing page; as well as reviews in a separate block. An access to their Facebook and Vimeo is available, so the only thing I would recommend is a contact email. Contact boxes are useful, but they are not always the most reliable.

Ooberfuse

Described as 'ethereal electronic pop' by an influential UK music critic, Ooberfuse is an electronica act hailing from London. Well-crafted songs are delivered by this dynamic do providing emotional and powerful vocals over electronic (I know I've said electronic a few times) music. Most well known for their live performances, Ooberfuse has graced the stages of Bush Hall, Trafalgar Square and the Leicester Square Theatre.

Ooberfuse is:

Hal St John on guitar, vocals and synths.
Cherrie Anderson on vocals and keys.

https://www.facebook.com/Ooberfuse/ - Ooberfuse's Facebook account is relatively well-maintained with engaging posts from the duo on a regular basis. I enjoy the daily videos campaign they are currently running, as well as the plethora of live videos the group has on the account. Various photographs are available, but they are primarily promotional. The band focuses greatly on promotion and there is even an email signup section. I am pleased to see contact details and a link to their official website, but I would recommend placing links to other social media accounts for further online engagement. It might also be beneficial to place access to a playlist on the account.

https://www.instagram.com/ooberfuse/ - Ooberfuse's Instagram account is a relatively well-maintained account with a well spread out set of photographs. There are promotional images and many of them focus on live performances, but then there are also fan images with 'behind the scenes' pictures. One element I found particularly amusing was the way Ooberfuse crafted several images to create a single image when looking at the page as a whole - you'll see what I mean when you view the page. It's an incentive!

https://www.ooberfuse.com/home - the official website has a single landing page with a main header, menu, email signup and rotating design. I love this design because it doesn't bombard you with information and focuses on one element before allowing you 'inside'. The colour is scheme is well thought out, and the items on each page are well laid out. The biography could use some work and discuss background of the band, but the press quotes are a smart addition. Moreover, there is no information under 'daily vids', so this should be considered.

Judd Hoos

When you think of an American rock band, Judd Hoos is a group that should come to mind. Based in South Dakota, the band has only on the charts since 2017, but man have they charted the charts! In 2017, Judd Hoos released the iTunes charting album, Music In The Dark, and in 2018 (that's this year for anyone who's a couple of months ahead), they released their single 'Dirty Work' produced by J. Hall in Nashville. Sharing the stage with names like Third Eye Blind and Trapt, the band is set to be a name you'll get to know rather quickly.

Judd Hoos are:

Tyler Bills
Shane Funk
Chris Hornick
Andy Young

Judd Hoos are currently working on a follow-up five-song EP to be released in 2019.

https://www.facebook.com/juddhoos/ - Judd Hoos' Facebook account is quite a well-maintained one focusing with the posts focusing primarily on gigs and other promotional elements. There are numerous images and videos, particularly of live events, which are particularly enjoyable for fans (new and old) as it seems these boys put on one hell of a show. I always love a store because, well, I'm a woman with a credit card. Some fantastic items on sale, and I'm seriously wondering if I could schmooze one of those beanies. The contact details are intact, links to other social media accounts are fine; however, I have one major issue with this account - the header has flashing lights! I'm all for a gif header, but flashing images makes it difficult for people with photosensitivity to view a profile. If I weren't obliged to view this site, I would have closed my tab without looking beyond the homepage.

https://www.instagram.com/juddhoos/ - Judd Hoos' Instagram is a well-maintained account with an even balance between promotional, live performance images, and some personal pictures. In fact, there are some photos of a barbeque and a stuffed unicorn (or the band's spirit animal). It's a fun account to peruse and shows how carefree the guys can be, while still remaining professional.

https://juddhoos.com/ - I think this time I will mention my reservation about the website first instead of last. When landing on the group's official website, I am faced with strobes flashing in my face. I have photosensitive epilepsy, so this is not a pleasant experience and I am so glad the landing page is a scroll down option instead of having to find a tab on a menu. Once you scroll down, you will come across merchandise, links to music streaming sites, and an Instagram widget. Fortunately, you do not need to return to the top to find a link to the main menu with all the headings available in a drop down tab. My only concern, once again, is once you head to the page of choice you will face a strobe gif at the top of the page. I implore the band or the band's web designer to reconsider this feature!

Dark Rouge Park

Dark Rouge Park is a synthpop trio hailing from the city of Los Angeles, CA. Described as a 'pulsating melodic dream', this band combines unique, thought-providing lyrics with an original electronic melody. The band is influenced by established acts such as Peter Gabriel, Abba Pink Floyd, Depeche Mode, and The Cure.

https://www.facebook.com/darkrougepark/ - Dark Rouge Park's Facebook account is not a well-maintained or relatively well-maintained account with posts only being made when an album is released. Only a few videos are available, but they are fun to watch being 'behind the scenes' options. The photographs are mostly press-related and could require updating. The only benefit of Dark Rouge Park's FB account is that they have contact details and social media links available. I would recommend an update of all information, including some more regarding a biography. Then again, that's just me.

https://www.instagram.com/darkrougepark/ - Dark Rouge Park's Instagram account is as poorly maintained as their Facebook. During the past year, only four or five images have been added; however, they are not all promotional with some personal images as well. This is one positive aspect - the balance between press images, live performance images and some backstage shots. I would recommend paying more attention to the account, even if it were to post promotional images of gigs or new releases.

http://www.darkrougepark.net/ - I am not sure why people enjoy flashing images in their videos, but it is not fun for others who are tired or have photosensitive conditions. Once again, the landing page of an official website opens with a video header using strobes. Fortunately, you can scroll down to find information on the band, links to social media accounts and contact details. The menu is easy to find and can be accessed without having to return to the top of the page, so thank you for little mercies. Different pages are neatly laid out and the colour scheme is a clean one. My only complaint is the opening header.

Illbe

An indie pop threesome hailing from Los Angeles, CA and inspired by the likes of Troye Sivan, Twenty One Pilots and Halsey.

https://www.facebook.com/illbemusic/ - I am unsure when Illbe opened their Facebook account, but I am assuming it was in June based on the first image being uploaded at the end of the month. Based on that, Illbe tend to post on a regular basis, primarily with images and some videos. The images are promotional in nature with only two videos on the video, one being a rather brilliant cover of Troye Sivan's 'My My My'. I am a little disappointed with Illbe's 'about' section where they have no biographical information and minimal social media links. If I were to use FB exclusively for a biography, I would not know anything about them. In fact, I pretty much don't. I do know they have released a debut single called 'Memoirs'.

https://www.instagram.com/illbemusic/ - Illbe's Instagram may be more well-maintained than their Facebook account with live band images, press shots and some videos. They have a decent balance between images, and I don't see any problems nor do I have any concerns regarding this account.

https://band.link/illbe - The group has chosen to use their Bandlink website as an official website. This site focuses primarily on Illbe's debut single, 'Memoirs', exclusively. Contact details are available, with a single line biography on the band. This can be ideal if you are looking for music exclusively, but if you want gig details or videos then you'll need a different website. May I recommend using the Reverbnation option?

I got in contact with Silvano (pianist, double bassist, guitarist and composer) the older of the Pagliuca-Mena brothers, in a forum for jazz musicians. In the middle of his moving from the shore city of Maracaibo, in Venezuela to Madrid, he found time to talk about family roots, musical identity and their music: an original blend of Venezuelan, Latin, Jazz and Classic.

(GF) Can you tell us about of your trajectory in music?

(SPM) Music has always been there for and with us. We come from a family of artists and intellectuals. Our mother, for instance, is a ballerina and sociologist, our father, although he did not dedicate himself to the arts, is a very creative amateur musician. That is why we had since our very early age, an inclination for the sciences and arts, particularly for music. In our family environment we were exposed to different musical genres, such as Italian popular music, flamenco - our family roots are Italian and Spanish -, traditional Venezuelan music, Latin American and Caribbean music, Jazz, European, Classic music and also Pop and Rock, among others and all those elements had a later influence in our artistic expressions. Around the age of seven, we started in musical ensembles and folkloric groups and later we took part in diverse rock bands and pop music group. Finally, we joined symphonic groups and started experimenting with Jazz.

(GF) When did the ensemble start?

(SPM) In 2014. The formation varied from the original duo with my brother Angelo, percussionist and composer, to up to ten musicians, depending on the event. Many other artists have called us to be their band and this feels really good. It is also nice to see both familiar and new faces in each of our presentations.

(GF) How would you define your music?

(SP-M) Our music is eclectic, product of a continuous search for expression through musical art, going through different genres and musical styles. We have a very open aesthetic that fuses Jazz, Contemporary music, European academic music, Venezuelan and Latin American, flamenco and World Music, always with an original approach.

(GF) New projects?

(SP-M) We have finished recording our second album, short before moving to Madrid. We are very excited about it and we hope that it will be as well reviewed as the first one: "The Temple of Ideas". Our   new album,    like the previous one, was entirely produced by us, and consists of seven original songs written by me and Angelo.

We go deeper exploring our flamenco inheritance and Mediterranean sounds, among others influences. Our main project now is to establish ourselves in Madrid. Although we knew it would not be easy, it   was a step    that we felt we had to take in order to continue growing as humans and artists. We also want to assemble the ensemble again in Europe with some of our previous members. We´ll see.

Mark Stone and The Dirty Country Band- For Stories EP Review

Mark Stone & the Dirty Country Band , from Minnesota, formed in 2012 as a solo project for Mark Stone himself. Since then, Stone (Guitar/Vocals) has acquired the musical talents of Todd Jameson (Bass), Johnny Strutt (Drums) to form The Dirty Country Band.

They are influenced by Southern Rock and Country, which is prevalent in the song structures and writing. However on their latest release “ For Stories” takes a different direction. The main focus is on good ol’ country rock with hard rock riffs and powerful beats. This EP sees the group coming into their own as a close knit outfit that is evident on here. The chemistry between the music is apparent from the beginning that these are men love their craft!

On first track Until Someone Remember my name is a nice country song that is relatable to a contingency of folk who want to pack in their jobs to play music. The overall structure of the track is a feelgood one steeped with elements of heavy guitar lines that are reminiscent of 70’s southern rock. And a strong, swinging rhythm that supplements Stone’s reflective lyrics.

When love goes to war is an acoustic track that is suitable for a long drive home along the highway. Stone shows his versatility with the guitar and on vocals that express raw emotion that will touch any heartstring in this song about falling out with a loved one. It is these samples of the ability to produce natural forms of motions through music that makes Stone a good songwriter.

The things that impress me the most about Mark Stone and The Dirty Country Band is the musical textures that plays off each other . Strutt’s drumming remains consistent throughout, acting like a metronome that dictates the rhythm. Furthermore, The intelligent lyrics that retain strong storytelling throughout.

Faster than they fall is a combination of Dirty Country ( Excuse the pun!) and Boogie Rock. The riff is a loud and simple juggernaut of a tune that will keep your feet swaying. The strong beats reflect Skynyrd in there pomp with driving rhythm section is like a train pounding the tracks at high speed. This is my favourite standout track that could easily be a breakthrough in the commercial rock charts with fans of 70s and 80’s southern rock .

And finally, before you are gone is a country/gospel track that is a nod to religious faith that introduces an organ section that adds depth to the melody vocal lines that make this a beautiful end to an accomplished outing for the dirty country band.

The eP is now available for pre- oreder on Itunes.https://itunes.apple.com/gb/album/for-stories-ep/1343653581

Limberlost Quick Review and Interview

Limberlost is a Female fronted Power Rock band from the Pacific Northwest Formed in late 2010, original members, guitarist Ricky Dunn and drummer Mike Burt decided to form a band that would make powerful lyrics and create magical music. The band released Thin Cloud, but felt there were missing pieces to the jigsaw. This all changed in 2013 when vocalist Krystle Pyette joined the band to create a balance in range and writing lyrics. The band was finally completed in 2016 with the addition of Bassist Ben Beman In Late 2016 after several single releases working with producer/engineer David Smith from Crash Bang Booom Productions. The band finished as runner up in the 2016 Seattle Wave Radio Jamming Challenge at the Hard Rock Café, as well as runners- ups in the 2017 Puget Sound Battle of the Band, alongside an appearance in the 105.3FM Local Music Project. Cirke Cherokee, a finalist in the Danish XFactor joined the team las year to provide depth and a dynamic to the band.
Limberlost are a mix of alternative rock, powerful vocals and guitar- driven rock. The band have released a succession of singles that listeners can find via Reverbnation and Soundcloud.

The opening sounds of drums that reverberate inside your temples of Long Shadows sets the tone for a beautiful 80’s-style hard rock track accompanied by the enchanting pinched harmonics of Dunn and Pyette’s impressive range that switches gears is an all-round rocker with huge riffs.

Thin Clouds is the group’s revised version of their first single. The listener gets an earlier example of the chemistry between vocalists - Krystel Pyette and Cirke Cherokee. This is a more up-tempo blues track with elements of gospel and soul. The women croon in tandem to the back outlay of fast guitars and catchy hooks.

Babylon is a soulful crooner with a tight rhythm section that slithers along with every breath expressed by the ever more strong vocal lines of Pyette. The addition of a keyboard solo is reminiscent of classic 70’s rock.

Not My Own is an anthemic track stocked full of raw emotion and atmospheric music that creates a picture of someone reaching out alone. This is a track that appeals to the more sensitive fans of ballads.
And Finally, The heavy hitting Hands up. A song full of tantalising groove, sensual vocals and hypnotic riffs. This could easily be the breakthrough hit for Limberlost

https://www.limberlostmusic.com/ The official site includes tour dates, photo’s, videos’ music and merchandise. An assessable site for any fan.
https://www.facebook.com/limberlost/ This is another professional effort with colourful pics, information about the music, videos and tour dates.

Limberlost Interview

How did the band come to meet The Old School Project?
“We actually submitted in the first Reverbnation campaign that The Old School Project did and were fortunate enough to be in their top 10 to earn a roster spot!”
Could you introduce yourselves to the Old School Project Listeners and new readers?
“Hello TOSP Listeners!! We are Limberlost, an original female fronted rock band from the Seattle area in Washington State, USA. We consist of Krystle Pyette on lead vocals, Cirke Cherokee on Backing Vocals, Ricky Dunn on lead Guitar, Ben Bemen on Bass Guitar, Mike Burt on Drums and Raymond Hayden on Keys.”

How did Limberlost form? And what was your inspirations to create the band?
“In late 2010, Mike and Ricky found each other on Craigslist looking to form an original song writing band. They went through a couple of false starts and then in 2013 they met up with Krystle who was leading Worship at a church they were attending. After a little while of playing together for the church, they along with their original bassist, Daniel, started to work together on writing material. In early 2016 they went into the studio with the first single Thin Clouds and it was shortly after that, that Daniel left the group. Along came Ben and then things just blew up from there. We added Keyboards in November 2016 and currently are blessed to have Raymond Hayden working with us and a year later came Cirke. We couldn’t be more excited about our future as a band!!”

How would you describe your sound to people unfamiliar with your music?
“It’s got elements of classic 80s 90s rock, maybe a Heart meets Zeppelin meets Deep Purple? Powerful Female vocal, guitar driven hooks and tenacious grooves!”

You want to write and produce great music with powerful lyrics, could you explain what inspires you to write?
“We have what we refer to as a “Mosaic” writing approach. In other words, everybody is encouraged in the writing process. A majority of our lyrics to date have come from Krystle and Mike. Each has written several of our current songs and can give something personal that drove the lyric. However, Ricky drives most of the melodies. The stuff we are currently working on now has some new twists with Ben, Cirke and Ray’s contributions. It’s cool because each song so far has been very unique. It just seems to come together in different ways.”

What message do you hope to make through your music?
“Hope! That grace exists and every day is yours to live so make it count!”

What tends to be your writing process?
“ We love playing together, so again it just happens. Good Chemistry along with a serious approach to one’s music, creates a pretty fertile field for creativity”

You have finished runner- up in several high profile competitions such as the 2016 Seattle wave radio jamming challenge at hard rock café , 2017 sound of the bands, and a finalist at 105.3fm local music project, how has this experience impacted on the band’s performances?
“Wow, yes we tend to be really good at second place…lol… The fact that our band has done so well so quickly has given us a lot of confidence to push forward and not spend a lot of time second guessing. Our fans have been great in supporting us and to be recognized not just as a good act but to have good songs is really humbling. It just makes us try to raise the bar every time we hit the stage.”

Limberlost will be embarking on a tour across the pacific northwest, what is a typical show from the band, and what are you looking forward the most about it?
“We love to play and to create new fans so getting out of our own area is an exciting prospect. We will also be travelling occasionally with our really good friends and super talented band Strangely Alright in 2018 so we are just eager to see what kind of fun and shenanigans we will be able to stir up together”.

Last summer, Limberlost added Danish X Factor finalist Cirke Cherokee as a back up vocalist. What impact has this had on the band’s overall sound?
“She has made a huge impact. Krystle has an incredible voice. Beautiful balance of range, control and power. Add Cirke, who has very similar strengths, and these two will blow your hair back.”

What is the meaning behind the band’s name?
“Limberlost comes from the story about the Limberlost swamp in Indiana that Ricky’s grandmother told him when she referred to the woods behind their house. The story was the legend of a man who was lost in the swamp and gave his will up to the Lord to find his way out and was lead to walk in a straight line which lead him out of the darkness. It also dove tails with a story Krystle read called The Girl of the Limberlost. And we also thought it sounded cool!”

How difficult is it for a band to break into today’s music industry?
“Extremely! First you have to find a bunch of super talented folks who all want to play together and work really hard and sacrifice almost everything. Then they have to write really good songs and keep sacrificing. There is SO much content bombarding the internet anymore that it is really hard to stick out. So if you are doing this to get rich…quit….lol. No seriously, you better love doing this and love the people you are doing it for and cherish the ones you are blessed to do it with. Write great songs! Be Consistent in all your efforts!!! HAVE FRIGGEN FUN!!!!!”

Can fans look forward to any new material?
“We are always writing!! We have a new one “See What You Want” that will be released in a couple months. A new cover that we are going to actually license and release in early summer and several in the hopper. Along with the release of all our material to date on one album titled “Limberlost Vol. 1” coming very soon.”

Vajra

During a self-imposed exile in India, Annamaria Pinna - child of a school teacher and former monk - was encouraged to learn about her surroundings and question her reality. In 2011, Pinna formed Vajra with Pat Reilly on guitars, Erek Smith on bass, and Shu Inaba on drums. Described as a 'tapestry of dark and hypnotic, foreboding and mysterious lullabies', Vajra helps listeners experience her music on a high plane. Having played various festivals (including SXSW and Loudwire Music Festival), Varja has also received several awards from Rolling Stone, Loudwire Magazine, and Sirius XM Radio to name but a few.

Varja is:

Anna Maria Pinna on keys, flute, waterphone and lead vocals.
Pat Reilly on guitar.
Erek Smith on bass.
Shu Inaba on drums and percussion.

Varja releases singles on their Patreon page regularly. The latest was released on October 31st as a Halloween celebratory demo.

https://www.facebook.com/vajratemple/ - Varja's Facebook profile is a very engaging one with regular posts providing more than promotional content. The account is evident of her unique personality, and all of the videos and pictures allow visitors insight into Varja's music life. An attractive profile picture, with an EPK widget where visitors can listen to a playlist, view music videos and peruse tour dates. My one criticism is there aren't links to other social media accounts, but there is a link to her official website which is helpful.

http://www.thevajratemple.com/ - an attractive website with a landing page showing all necessary information. If you scroll down, you will see their featured single music video, along with upcoming events and press information. If you wish to delve further into the 'Varja Temple', there are links to socials and EPK profiles. No complaints, just that the links are a little difficult to notice.

https://www.instagram.com/vajratemple/ - as I've mentioned before, I'm not expert when it comes to Instagram; however, I have a fair understanding of what makes a good profile. This is a good profile. A decent balance between professional and personal images, along with some videos for variety. A short bio in the personal information section with a link to the official website makes it easy to find more information.

Lucentia

Lucentia is an electronica band hailing from Fort Wayne, Indianapolis. Quite new on the scene, Lucentia released their debut single, 'The Machine', in September of this year.

Lucentia is:

Chris Nunley
Cassandra Nunley

https://www.facebook.com/lucentiamusic/ - Lucentia's Facebook was only opened in January, which may contribute to its poor maintenance. Only a few posts are available promoting their releases. While there are links to different social media accounts, and a contact email, no background information is available for the band. I would recommend updating this to give visitors some insight into the artist.

https://lucentia.bandcamp.com/ - the official website is Lucentia's bandcamp site. As with the social media account, no information is available on the site, only the basic details. The band, obviously, wants to promote their releases more than share details of the band.

Thread The Lariat

All the way from San Diego, California, we have Thread The Lariat. A five-piece rock 'n' roll band, this group has been described as a 'refreshing take on modern progressive rock'. Playing venues throughout Southern California, Thread The Lariat has developed a unique and impressive sound drawing their listeners to impressive live shows.

Thread The Lariat is:

Collin Davis on lead vocals.
Douglas Bell on guitar and backing vocals.
Alexander Brennan on guitar.
Aaron Torske on bass.
Brian McGee on drums.

Thread The Lariat are releasing their latest single in November 2018. Their music video for 'Break The Fall' was released in October.

https://www.facebook.com/threadthelariat/ - this Facebook account is quite well-maintained with regular posts promoting shows and single releases, along with images hinting at new music (keep fans interested!). An array of photographs are available ranging from gig posters to live pictures which is engaging for visitors. Only a few videos are available, but what is available is enjoyable. I would recommend placing more background information in the 'about' section, along with links to other social media accounts.

https://www.instagram.com/threadthelariat/ - Thread The Lariat's Instagram is a well-maintained and highly engaging one. Not only are there promotional pictures, but there are also some personal images giving it a good balance for fans to view. A link to their YouTube account in the information section is also very useful.

http://threadthelariat.com/ - the official website is an easy to navigate one with music played when you reach the landing page. It's well laid-out with an easy-to-find menu. Links to social media accounts are available, and this is a footer widget so it's found on all pages. A good website, although a bit dark.

Ellanoure

Ellanoure is a five-piece band hailing from Biloxi, South Mississippi. Made up of two sets of brothers, Ellanoure combines post-rock instrumentals with indie rhythms resulting in a unique sound for their listeners. The group released their debut album, Things More Purely, in 2018.

Ellanoure is:

Jared Kozlowski on vocals and guitar.
Heath Riddle on guitar.
Brian Kozlowski on keys.
Shawn Riddle on bass.
Shawn Kozlowski on drums.

https://www.facebook.com/ellanoure/ - Ellanoure's Facebook page is a relatively well-maintained one, but the information is lacking. While they have contact details and links to their merchandise store, it would be helpful to include an official website (if they have one). Moreover, the Instagram link is broken. A band profile is available offering fans access to a playlist, videos and gig dates. I also enjoy the different images available ranging from live shows to posters. My only concern is the broken link and a need for more information - then again, that's just me.

Scott Thiessen

Scott Thiessen is a Canadian singer-songwriter swooning his audience with soulful pop music - emphasis on the soul part. He graduated from Seneca College's Songwriting programme in 2017, and made it through the Independent Music Production programme in 2018. So, he's not only handsome and talented, but he's pretty smart as well! His influences are Sam Smith, Adele and Adam Levine.

Scott Thiessen released his debut single 'Lips Don't Move' in October 2018. He is currently working on a debut album.

https://www.facebook.com/ScottThiessenMusic/ - Scott's Facebook account is very well-maintained with a post every week, if not every day. The posts are mainly promotional, but he uses informal language to engage with his fans. There is a plethora of live photos and some amusing cover videos, so it's an enjoyable audio-visual experience. My one complaint is the lack of background information. He has no links to other social media accounts and no contact information.

https://www.instagram.com/scott_thiessen/ - Scott's Instagram is also well-maintained with mostly promotional images, but there are some personal photos here and there. It keeps fans updated on what is happening in his life, and I suppose that is the purpose of Instagram. A suitable amount of information available on the page including links to his official website and a contact email.

https://www.scottthiessen.ca/ - a very neat and concise website that is easy to navigate. The landing page contains a basic biography with links to social media accounts, as well as a gallery and easily accessible menu. I enjoy the colours and simple background image promoting his single - it's not overpowering using neutral tones. A more detailed background might be beneficial for press purposes.

Eight Awesome Artists To Keep Your Ears Happy

Vihads21

Vihads21 is a rock alternative and new age five-piece hailing from West Sumatera, Indonesia. Since 2017, the band has collaborated with various session players and artists in the music industry. Vihads21's debut album 'EXPerice' was released in 2018.

Vihad21 is:

Rahmat Ulfriansyah
Aga Pratama Alamsyah
Ivan Mahya Deva
Oka Yusdi
Ibnu Aldian

Vihad21 plans on releasing an album trilogy over the next three years.

https://www.facebook.com/vhads21/ - Vihad21's Facebook profile is well-maintained from a promotional perspective posting an update whenever a new gig or online presence is released. There are few photos and even fewer videos, but a link to their band profile is available with access to a playlist and gigs. No contact details, background information or links to other social media is available and this should be reconsidered.

https://www.instagram.com/vihads21/ - the band's Instagram is as informative as their Facebook - not informative at all. While it has some images, they are promotional with some personal sketches here and there. Despite the growing number of followers, the profile is not well-maintained.

http://vhads21.com/ - Vihad21 redeem themselves with their official website. The website has a landing page with a playlist, videos, gig details, photographs and a biography section. The biography is lacking, but it does have some details. The menu is easy to locate and there are notable links to social media accounts. One item that is not available is a contact email or number.

Jimmie Something

Jimmie Something is a singer/songwriter from Zug, Switzerland. His music falls into the indie-folk genre and has been described as warm and addictive.

https://www.facebook.com/jimmiesomething/ - Jimmie's Facebook account is very poorly maintained from a fan engagement perspective, but he does keep people updated regarding gigs. Only one video is available, a few promotional photographs, and minimal background information with no contact details. No links to other social media accounts, but there is a link to his Reverbnation profile. For more fan engagement, it may be worthwhile reconsidering placing more information on Facebook.

https://www.reverbnation.com/jimmiesomething - this profile provides a playlist, gig listings, some live photos and one featured video - the minimum you would expect from a Reverbnation account. No background information is available, but he does have a link to a social media account. It is recommended that he place some more background information and contact details. While the mail button can be used, a further email is beneficial.

The Red Moons

The Red Moons is an alternative rock/grunge band hailing from Chicago, Illinois. The threesome started their musical journey in 2014 and they released their debut album, Out of Touch, in 2015. The debut was followed by A Heightened Sense in 2017, and their third album Eat Your Own was recently released in October 2018. The band has played with acts such as Blood People, Mac Sabbath and Galactic Empire.

The Red Moons is:

Anthony Sarillo on guitar and vocals.
Eric Olsen on bass and vocals.
Lance Olsen on drums and vocals.

https://www.facebook.com/theredmoons/ - The Red Moons' Facebook profile is relatively well-maintained promoting gigs, album releases and press appearances when available. Considering the profile was opened in 2014, there are not many photographs or videos. One beneficial feature on this profile is the subscription item on the menu - not seen on many Facebook accounts. The background information is sufficient, and the band provides ample links to other social media with contact details.

https://www.instagram.com/theredmoons/ - The Red Moons' Instagram account has a pleasant balance between professional and personal images making it ideal for fan engagement. The posts are not consistent, nor is there much information in the details section; however, there is a link to their Bandcamp profile.

https://theredmoons.bandcamp.com/ - The Red Moons use their Bandcamp account as an official website, which is useful; however, it does not offer background information or contact details. The site is based primarily around playlists and discography - I suppose this is what music promotion is all about after all. Links are available to social media accounts, so this can be used to find contact details.

Charley Reynolds

Charley Reynolds is a country music singer/songwriter from Orlando, Florida. She released her debut single 'Underneath the Stars' in 2015 on iTunes, followed shortly by three more tracks in 2016 - 'Get Over Yourself', 'Stupid Love Song' and 'Need You By My Side'. Charley released her debut album, Kickin' Up Dust, in May 2017 and held the album's release concert on the same night at the Walt Disney Amphitheatre. Charley lists her influences as Carrie Underwood, Shania Twain and Miranda Lambert.

Charley Reynolds' latest EP, Kissed Us Goodbye, was released in April 2018.

https://www.facebook.com/charlyreynoldsofficial/ - it is easy to see that Charley is one of the social media generation by her Facebook profile. The account is very well-maintained with both promotional posts and fun posts on an almost daily basis. She has numerous photographs, but the videos from performances and some 'at home singing cos I was bored' are the more entertaining. The biography is lacking, but she has links to other social media accounts with contact details. A band profile is available on the account with access to a playlist.

http://www.charlyreynolds.com/ - if the Facebook profile lets you down in any way, this is where Charley's official website makes amends in a big way! All you could want short of Charley giving you a hug is available on the official site. Many photographs and videos, along with album releases and interviews is available on the site. A playlist can be accessed, as well as merchandise on the easy to navigate menu. The pink theme is apt as it expresses Charley's bubbly and sweet nature. Contact details are available, but there are no links to social media accounts and the EPK requires a password to access.

Eryn

Eryn Shewell, more commonly referred to as Eryn, is one of the modern vocalists who have discovered that 'retro pop' sound. Hailing from Maryland, Eryn combines the genres of blues, country, rock and jazz to form a thrilling soulful sound for her listeners. Described as a seductive range changing voice, Eryn embraces all opportunities to write music and perform. As part of The Eryn Shewell Band, Eryn won several awards including the Top Blues Band and Top Female Vocalist Asbury Music Awards in 2011. In 2013, Eryn began a new band called Eryn Shewell and the Whiskey Devils. Eryn released her debut EP, Lady E, was released in 2018.

https://www.facebook.com/Eryn.LadyE/ - Eryn's Facebook profile focuses on fan engagement with regular posts that are not only promotional but personal content as well. Numerous photographs and videos are available showing Eryn onstage, with other artists, posing with friends and promotional items. The profile has an extensive biography with links to other social media accounts; there are also contact details and gig listings. I don't see any problem with this account, but could recommend the addition of a band profile or subscription tab.

http://erynofficial.com/ - What I find adorable is the immediate kiss you receive when opening the Eryn official website - click the website and you'll know what I mean. The website is easy to navigate with access to a playlist, a subscription widget and a clearly defined menu. Links to social media accounts are available, and the colour scheme matches Eryn's EP design. It's well laid-out and aesthetically pleasing with pictures pinned to the top of the page.

Affinity

Affinity is a rock foursome hailing from the Carolinas in the United States. The group began in 2015 as a small creative project between two members, but by the end of 2016 Affinity was starting to bloom. Since completing their line-up, these young men have worked tirelessly resulting in their debut album, Lead The Way, being released in September 2018.

Affinity is:

Matthew Lowry on vocals and guitar.
Jesse Jones on guitar and vocals.
Wendell Martin on bass.
Rodrick Locklear on drums.

https://www.facebook.com/AffinityNCBand/ - Affinity's Facebook is a very well-maintained one with regular posts promoting gigs, releases and interviews. The focus here is fan engagement when you look at the post style, the types of photographs and the videos uploaded. The account is professional, but there are videos helping you gain a 'behind the scenes' perspective of Affinity which is quite enjoyable. A band profile is available offering a playlist, videos and gig listing. While I am not a fan of video headers, this one is pleasing because it is both subtle and artistic. My one concern is the lack of links to other social media accounts (if any) and no contact details.

https://affinity.bandcamp.com/ - Affinity's Bandcamp provides basic background information with no links to social media accounts, which is disappointing; however, there is a contact link available. As a Bandcamp profile, the emphasis is on merchandise sales and Affinity provides this option with access to their debut album.

Strange Heart

When I read Strange Heart's biography, I think of some Shakespearean play. Two unlikely characters experiencing tragedy only to come together and build something bigger than themselves overcoming all woe and whatnot, and whatnot, and whatnot. You see, Bryce Carrol-Coe returned to the west coast after receiving a heart transplant searching for a place to sleep and a fellow musician. Josh Clemens arrived a few weeks later to be near family a second (not literally a second) before two of his sisters died from cancer. Their fates intertwined and Bryce helped Josh to bring his reflective songs to life; thus, Strange Heart was born.

Strange Heart is:

Josh Clemens on guitar and lead vocals.
Bryce Carrol-Coe on lead guitar and vocals.
Mike Schneider on bass and vocals.
Bobby Jankowski on drums.

Strange Heart release their debut album, Sinking Ships, on November 30th.

https://www.facebook.com/strangeheartband/ - Strange Heart's Facebook is a well-maintained account with regular posts promoting press articles, releases and gigs. There is a strong focus on fan engagement with the posts being conversational and interactive. The account has several live photographs, but it is the videos that make the account most enjoyable showing many 'behind the scenes' features. My one concern is the lack of contact details in the 'about' section. While there are links to other social media accounts and an official website, no email is available as a contact to the band.

https://www.instagram.com/strangeheartrockband/ - Strange Heart's Instagram has a good balance between personal and promotional images with more videos than photos. The account does not seem to be well-maintained, despite being created in February. It may be useful to post more regularly, but the video element does make it enjoyable for fans even if posts are only once per month.

https://www.strangeheartmusic.com/ - the official website for Strange Heart is a single landing page, but it has almost everything you need from a band including a biography, gig listings and social media widgets. The initial elements are a link to Spotify and a subscription option with an easy to navigate menu. The contact details can be found by clicking the link, along with media (soon to come). I would recommend navigation to press images instead of merely placing the images underneath the biography.

Sigulka

When you think of Spain, the last type of music you would consider is Celtic rock - or perhaps that's just me. Sigulka is one of those bands that breaks stereotypes and pumps heavy Celtic rock from Madrid. This talented quintet have won various awards since their inception including two Akademia Music Awards.

Sigulka is:

Margarita on violin.
Juan on guitar and vocals.
Dan on guitar.
Fredy on bass.
Cristian on drums.

Sigulka released their album Symbols in August 2018.

https://www.facebook.com/sigulka/ - Sigulka's Facebook account is relatively well-maintained with two or three posts each month. The posts are primarily promotional with a focus on gig listings. Now, my Google translator may not be the greatest, but the posts are quite short and formal making it seem impersonal. Sigulka has a band profile app giving fans access to their gig schedule, videos and playlist. Moreover, they have apps for Instagram and YouTube available, so you don't need to leave Facebook to access these accounts. Merchandise can also be purchased from Facebook, which is another enjoyable convenience. Overall, Sigulka has made excellent use of the apps available to them; however, the biography is not background information on how Sigulka came about. Moreover, the video header is one of the flashier images making it difficult to view as a person with photosensitive epilepsy - this may be worth reconsidering.

http://sigulka.es/ - Sigulka's official website is well laid planned with their menu being prominent at the top of the page. Links to other social media accounts are easy to find and images are pinned making it pleasant to view. Music is available on the website with contact details and latest news; however, once again, there is no biography. I would recommend changing this, as well as reconsidering the number of images on the pages. Incorporating text with images may make it seem less 'busy'.
