Have ye been to the Lady Luck Tavern lately?
What?... Ye 've never heard of it?... Where are ye from?... Not from around I gather....
Are ye from the eastern dales?... or.. maybe from the southern sultanates....
Fine... don't tell... It doesn't mater anyway... Sooner or later ye'r gonna be a sword coaster.... or ye'll die... Hahahahahaha....
Ahem... Were was I?.. Ah yes, the Lady Luck Tavern... Just head for Daggerford's marketplace and ye'll find it... For me its the best place to be if yer looking for some company or a half decent meal... Its even better place for those looking for some adventure I tell ye!
Anyway, there's a new bard in the place, charming fellow..., gets quite the audience every night.
I gather that its not his talent for singing, that people find interesting, but the words of his songs.
There is a particular one, that he always keeps for last, that speaks of hidden treasure or something.. I think it goes like this....
Now sit around and hear the tale
of poor ol' merchant's coffin nail
He was the richest man around
and it was full well known in town
he had a fear a bit surreal
his treasure everyone would steal
and thus he traveled far and wide
to find a place his gold to hide
and soon he stumbled on a cave
designed by fate to be his grave
you see the man was unaware
the cave was also a monster's lair
poor fella went and woke the beast
and soon became the monster's feast
his treasure's still there I suppose
and that is how the story goes
So if you 'd like the merchant's wealth
I'll drink a pitcher to your health
And if you want to know the place
Buy me a beer of fuck your face
I know I'm not much of a singer, but ye seem like an adventurous fellow..., why don't ye go there and see him for yer self?...
Maybe his on to something...."
Anna was living a simple and carefree life at the outskirts of Daggerford. With no parents and no property of her own, she considered herself lucky to have found a job as a handy-woman at a local barn. That was until that fateful night, not many months after her first bleeding, when she caught the eye of a vile and brutish man. He crept into the barn, when everyone was long asleep, and attacked her full of violence and lust. In those moments of pain and despair, while she was muffled and could not scream, she wished with all her heart and all her soul for help to come and him to stop. That was when a blinding light and a violent shudder came out of nowhere, right before she lost her senses. When she woke up the man was dead, laying beside her full of blood, his body twisted in an unnatural and hideous way. Ever since that day, she hears an awful and wicked voice in her head, whispering villainous words pushing toward sinful deeds. She claims her name is Heartreaper, and she requires of Anna many things, all of which are of nefarious nature. Anna knows the wrongness of her condition, she feels it deep inside, eating her soul bit by bit. She can not endure this anymore!... Or can she?
